When I ended my last trip report, I finished off with several chapters of my favorite pictures from the trip. I organized them into separate chapters called “Greatest Hits” (volumes 1 and 2), “Photopass”, “Food Porn”, and “Outtakes”. This time around, I think I’ll do it in one big, multi-post chapter. Kind of like, what would the trip report have been like if I hadn’t gotten all “wordy”. You may be thinking that this time around I just don’t have the gumption to get all organized like last time. Well….I’m having a hard time arguing with that one, so perhaps you’re right. Or, maybe you’re wishing that I’d started with this chapter and saved you from all of that reading. But then you would have missed that whole paragraph on laundry, which got such rave reviews in all of the comments.

Anyway, let’s get started.

Who can forget the “Randall-from-Survivor-looking-guy” who secretly put up bunny ears behind Marlene while she was putting up Mickey Mouse ears behind her mom? It was only the bus ride from the airport parking lot to the airport, and we were still nearly a thousand miles from Walt Disney World, but it signaled the start of the fun. I just noticed a Disney World luggage tag on the right side of the picture. That’s not our luggage, so probably “Randall” was heading to the same place we were, and was in just as good a mood.

After watching this feeding frenzy, Glennbo realized that he’d be getting no leftovers.

James, the volleyball stud.

Candi greatly improved a picture of Dan and Glennbo.

Yeehaa Bob made the rounds before his show and met the kids.

James and I got to meet the guy inside the big, furry Chewbacca costume: the less-furry, but still big Peter Mayhew

I took this picture of Ray Park (who played Darth Maul), not knowing how it would make my female trip report readers swoon.

Glennbo shows off “the crane”.

We enjoyed watching the movie screen at Sci-Fi Dine-in.

The beautiful and vivacious Dorma Nesmond didn’t even try to hide how smitten she was with Glennbo.

Indiana Jones was a hit. (No, that’s not an Italian impression.)

Aerosmith arranged a limo ride for Lauren and me.

And we took some photopass pictures along Sunset Blvd.

During a quick trip to the Poly, we mailed some coconuts for Father’s Day.

Lauren couldn’t resist this man in uniform, even though he was plastic and had unusually flat feet.

We discovered what all the hoopla was about during Star Wars weekends.

Marlene transformed into a “rocker chick”.

This bellhop made our elevator ride extra-special creepy, but in a good way.

PChef painted the kingdom red.

Marlene found someone to pick on.

At Biergarten, I got this yummy plate of food and a beer flight, minus one sip.

Test Track whipped our hair back and forth.

The girls tried out for PChef Idol, and while they didn’t make the show, they did get some encouragement and some swag.

Our first time visiting a Disney waterpark, Typhoon Lagoon.

The sea was angry that day my friends.

Our PChef star.

The PChef Idol warm-up guy was worth the price of admission. (The fact that it was free should in no way affect that compliment.)

Here’s the contestant we rooted for, the husband of one of Judy’s consultants.

I liked this photo of “The Hat”.

And we watched some fireworks over the hat, not knowing that they’d be the only fireworks we’d see that week.

My idea of an appetizer at Whispering Canyon Café: milkshakes.

And then you need something to wash-down the milkshake. How about the famous Whispering Canyon Café skillet?

We checked into Kidani and greeted our neighbors.

The girls during a “paws” on Expedition Everest. Scaling the foribidden mountain was a “big feet”. “Yeti”, I digress.

We had an encounter with someone who was obviously a plant.

I got some pretty good gorilla pictures. I mean, the pictures were good…I can’t speak regarding the behavior of the gorillas. They were after all, gorillas.

The Tree of Life was a nice background for some photopass pictures.

I took a million pictures during the Nemo show but fear not, I whittled it down to just one for this retrospective.

I finally got a good picture of the lion on the safari! (Did I ever tell you about the time I shot a tiger in my pajamas?)

We got to meet Cherie Blueyedgirl, her hubby, and son at Kidani’s Community Hall.

The dishwashers had their work cut out for them at Boma, as I went through several plates and countless soup bowls.

This quaint little spot with its rocking chairs looks so inviting at Kidani.

Oh yeah…remember when Glennbo became TRON?

Marlene toured with me around the World Showcase. Here she is in a UK phone booth, before several attempts to get passers-by to answer the phone.

Marlene and her new beret made quite an Impression in France.

Marlene and Glennbo paused for a photopass picture in Morocco.

Glennbo hoped that Judy would get a chance to see Voices of Liberty.

I found one happy terra cotta warrior, who I’ll forever call “the smiling guy”.

The Boardwalk was beautiful at night.

Kidani’s savanna made a nice panorama.

A word of advice: On Spaceship Earth, remember that there are no “re-do” opportunities for the picture.

The World Showcase made a nice panorama too, even if it didn’t rhyme nearly as well as “savanna”.

The whole family toured the World Showcase on a “do over” day.

Grey Goose Slushie, meet Glennbo. Glennbo, meet Grey Goose Slushie.

The more rockin’ phone call!

James was intrigued by the storyteller/professional wrestler in Japan.

The girls were excited to pick a pearl, and had a hard time leaving their new rings in the boxes.

We Hoop’d it up.

A couple of the Hoop characters: Six Bits and Jim Handy.

Marlene “nose” good BBQ sauce when she tastes it.

James was an immediate virtuoso washboard player, with absolutely no prior instruction or training!

Six Bits drummed us out of the show.

Ah yes, the cowboy picture. How could we forget that?

Marlene enjoyed the pool.

And James made a splash.

And then we went home.

But wait! I have a couple of new pictures for you…ones that didn’t previously appear in the trip report.

Here someone photobombed our Photopass session in Japan. It’s a shame too, because these would have been great pictures otherwise.

Jenbear was missing that elusive Judy in Post 1, picture 3. Judy is behind the "feeding frenzy".

Didn't believe I actually saw this when it hadn't been up so long that there were already 5 or 6 correct answers. Then I didn't think I would ever get my answer together since I kept getting the dreaded "red X" instead of the photos.

The funny thing is I remember most of those photos with Judy in them EXCEPT the feeding frenzy one that Jenbear missed....... Had to double check what she was wearing in the first picture before I was sure. The Judy in the distance at the food spread in Picture 2 was an easy one since it was the motivation for me to come up with the contest.

Oh well I tried. And yet, I would've double and triple checked until only an hour ago I discovered ants infesting my room. So the last little while has been spent vacuuming my floor and emptying out the floor in my closet. Not fun
