I really agree with this. The afternoon food at the Poly consisted of goldfish, chips and a few cookies, not at all like what we had at the GF. And the breakfast was less substantial than the one at the GF as well. The evening food was plentiful and "fun" -- not as fancy as at the GF, but quite good.
However, we love the location of the Hawaii building, the views from there over the lagoon towards the castle, etc. And getting to watch the fireworks from our balcony while munching on dessert from the CL lounge was fantastic.
I like them both, but they are quite different.
