Happy Birthday to Joe, May 2011. . Trip Report Link

Sorry to hear about your flash drive, but at least you had the binder pages printed out. And it could have been worse...you could have hurt yourself when you tripped when you got your foot caught.

Woo, hoo so close.
Too bad about the flash, good thing you are organized and didnt wait to last minute to print it. Your making real progress on the to do list!

I worked on my tote bags and used the transfers you rec. Seems good but I screwed them up so I need to buy another pack. I had read that I needed to flip images, but it prints right side up so I ddint. SO I wasted one there. Then for some reason(could be low ink) the second and thirs time I tried, it printed with lines on it. GRR. One was usable enough for one side and a practice. Glad I decided to wait to do the Tshirts. I have a pack of light transfers but I didnt know if I should try it on reverse side of tote.

J - check your ink cartidges. make sure they are full or close to it. I did notice that Katie's Mickey head with the tiara had some minor lines -- its the fuller colors that do that - but I don't think anyone will be looking that close. Let's hope. Cool that you started on a tote....I'll be looking for pics when you have them up. I also used some glitter on Katie's & my tee's ...a little glitter glue & fabric paint highlights could cover up minor flaws. My first pkg of transfers, you did have to reverse the image. but I very carefully read the pkg for the newer one. I think that because the transfers for dark shirts have a solid white background, you are transferring with the ink "facing". the transfers for light are translucent, so the ink side is actually facing the shirt & that's why you have to reverse them.

I did my first transfer backwards too - all 3 of them:scared1:

and I SOOOO glad to say that my hubby:love: came home from work at midnight, pulled out his cold solder gun and FIXED MY FLASH DRIVE:cool1: at least enough to transfer the files to a different drive. I"m SOO glad. see, he really is my hero :lovestruc:love::hug:

very true Kat -- I am glad I wasn't hurt. and really really glad that my hubby fixed it enough last night to retrieve the data. WAHOOO

Lesson learned to unclip the lanyard from the flash drive.

Yep, that's all this post is: a shameless request for votes! Disney Family is running a "Happily Ever After Contest" through next week. I submitted a photo & story for Joe and I. Next year is our 20th wedding anniversary and it would just be SO AWESOME to renew our vows at Disney World!! The contest ends May 11 & the winner is announced on 5/23 - the day we are back to work & non-magical life!

So, if would vote for us, I would appreciate it!!

:love:Thanks ladies! Hope you are enjoying some relax time with your families!

Mary Ellen, I forgot to tell you I voted the day you posted!!! You had two votes and I took it to three, I am going to see if I can vote again! :goodvibes

ETA: It took it from 7 to 8!

So let me just apologize to everyone who will be at Disney World next week. We've checked the forecast and sure enough, our black cloud will be following us to Orlando. :lmao:

So.... SORRY!:)

see, you may think I am exaggerating just a bit. but let me confirm that in the 23 years that I have known my DH, it has rained on 21 of his birthdays. :rotfl2::rotfl2: bring your ponchos on the 18th!!

I am hoping that there are less clouds in next week's forecast as we get closer.

I am sort of in that calm before the storm zone.... we leave Friday afternoon. I have all of the advanced stuff packed. I have been working on housekeeping but decided today that I am not going to be the only one spending all of my free time doing housekeeping in this house, so I'm done! well not really done, but also not stressing about it any more. I'll make sure the bathrooms are clean, floors vacuumed, the basics. Housekeeping is a real sore spot for me. I hate to clean. really really really. and I clean up after myself and never stop expecting that DH and DD will do the same. Apparently I will also never stop being disappointed in that expectation. :rolleyes1 I confess...it gets ugly. :headache:I get ugly:headache: until I decide to just give up. then my house reaches hurricane status and we go through the cycle all over again!:scared1:

SO five days out. I am really excited but at this moment (midnight) also really tired!

I think for the rest of this week i will have to take a copy off of another PTR and count down my top favs/to do things for the week.

Hope all my mom (and motherly dad) friends have had a wonderful Mother's day.

While I don't have a specific night schedule for watching an on the beach movie, I am really hoping to do this once while we are at WDW. I planned our days largely around parks & rides but know that there will be nights when we are ready to kick back so I know we will do this. I love the idea of a carriage ride (perhaps with a bottle of wine???) so hopefully we will be able to do this as well.

Maybe we will see some DISfriends on the beach!:cool1:

(just in case you would like to see the listings for another time frame, I found this info here: http://www.buildabettermousetrip.com/activity-outdoormovie.php
