MK Day (just a side note here, originally when I started checking park hours, I think MK was closing at 10pm, then it changed to 11pm, and then it changed to 12am)
From this part of the trip moving forward I dont have any notes written up and Im just going by the pictures to jog my memory.
Looking at the pictures from the morning Im reminded that Peter Pan brought the boys Whoopee Cushions.
Jack thinks they are hilarious, and of course he had Buzz partake in the fun too.
Buzz was his best friend all week, if you hadnt noticed from all the pictures. And he took the whoopee cushion to every person in the house and had them sit on it. Everyone played along and acted tricked, but he would just say here sit on this and then laugh.
So with their brand new Mickey shirts (purchased in AK the day before) we loaded up the car and headed out. When we arrived I was slightly confused as I really had not done my homework on getting to MK. Because I had never stayed off property before, I didnt realize the only way to get to MK from the parking lot was via the monorail or boat.
We opted for the Monorail though standing in the line I headed down to check out the boat and as I waved to my family about 75 people came charging me, and my family stayed in line for the monorail and we got on within 10-15 min.
The boys enjoyed the monorail ride and Jack got excited when I said I could see Mickeys castle (as we refer to it).
We did not make rope drop, a big reason being I was not prepared for the ride on the monorail.
Now we had discussed heading straight to Dumbo, but I had also hoped to grab a big group photopass picture in the entrance and in front of the castle. Well there was some confusion and everyone made a mad dash for Dumbo, except my little family of course. So we held everyone up (not really they went and rode Dumbo) while I got pictures with my family.
After we took our first picture of the day, and my husband headed through the tunnel to the left I started thinking about my friend Heidi and was debating whether to tell my DH that we needed to enter the other side (especially after the previous two days). But he moved quickly and so I just went with it.
The excitement was building as we walked down Mainstreet and the castle came into view.
We stopped half way down Main Street for more PP pictures, where Jack was looking for Tinkerbelle, he looked in my hand and then at me as he was confused when he saw nothing.
We get up to the center of MK in front of the castle and yep you guessed it we stopped for more pictures. Jack wasnt really in the mood the whole way, but I forget what my DH said to him and he finally took Buzz away from his face and we got a nice picture.
I wanted to get a picture of them walking through the castle and did, but it didnt turn out how I had hoped.
Next up waiting and riding Dumbo and some pixie dust for my niece
