What is gas now where you live?

I have seen $4.20-$4.35 out in town in Kailua, HI. Vary happy to be able to get it on base for $4.11:scared1:

Never thought I would say that.

$3.99 for Regular today; paid $3.90 on Monday :sad2: southernmost part of NY state (staten island)

it was $3.59 to $3.61 when DD13 and i drove home from school today, but who knows, it may have already gone up again since then. this makes me want to cry. i know other areas of the country are paying more, but the wages are much lower here (NE alabama) and this is REALLY hurting us. my DH is working 60-84 hours per week, and that's just barely paying for the gas we're using now-and we don't even drive much-school and back (2x a day) and two trips to town (13-14 miles away) per week. i fill up my car at 1/2 tank, and it still costs $52.00+.
pretty soon, DD will be riding the bus to school, and ballet class (one of our trips to town each week) will have to be cut. i can't imagine how those who work for minimum wage are making it. i wish we had public transportation out here in the boonies.

Here in Upper Michigan, it has been going up 5 cents every couple of days. Right now it is $3.89 and $4.14 for diesel.

We're in the SW Chicago suburbs and it's $3.89 today. More tomorrow, I'm sure.

Here in CT the sign on the gas station closest to my house says $3.89 Credit, $3.84 cash.

Yesterday in Vermont I paid $3.69

4.59 here on Maui. A few places are as low as $4.56 but its not worth the extra 10 min each way to g to those.

I paid $3.54 today. It took over $40 to fill up my little, pretty fuel efficent car!

3.57 yesterday but heard it went up .17 ¢ overnight, in an OIL RICH STATE
Ridiculous, when wells aren't even pumping and we send tons of oil and natural gas to other states................whose prices are lower than ours.
Diesel is 4.50 and there are lots of diesel pickup trucks in this mostly rural state.

What kind of car do you have that it costs you $52 for half a tank??? I just filled up my tank today for $46 and I was paying $3.85 per gallon?

Maggie

$3.84 for regular today - actually down 2 cents from yesterday.. Upstate NY - and dreading what Memorial Day Weekend might possibly bring in terms of the cost of gas..

However, I will do what I normally do.. Put in $20 or so at a time and make it last as long as I possibly can.. Of course if it goes down considerably, then I would do a fill-up and stretch it out for as long as I could..

OH NO! It's $4.07 at shell around the corner this evening!!!! It was just #3.85 the other day (when I should've gotten the gas!!)

$3.45 yesterday in northern NJ. Cost me over $45 to fill the tank on my SMALL van! :headache:

You can come next door- LI NY $3.89 cash (.10 more for credit) was the cheapest I could find. Put $40 in the tank of my sentra and it's still not full :scared1:

i drive an older SUV (GMC jimmy) and it has a pretty large gas tank. 30 gallons, i think. DH said gas had actually gone down 3 cents at some of the gas stations on his route home. i hope they're still down, because i have to fill up this morning, and thought is making me cringe. :scared:
