just got a quote and from LAX to anaheim supershuttle charges $16 per person - then i just looked at prime time and it says $15 per person. so the same price.

Would any person recommend one over the other?

Thanks. :)

I was wondering the same thing. I wasn't sure which company to use. I used Super Shuttle last year, but just recently heard of Primetime shuttle.

with Primetime Shuttle was not great. Reservation not found and with a reservation had to stand in line anyway - so what was the point - when we came back from our cruise a number of years back. I found the Supershuttle vans cleaner and better taken care of...but everyone has good and bad experiences with both.

We've used Primetime with no problem. We've also used Advanced Shuttle.

Sometimes we don't bother with a reservation; we just exit the airport and go over to the shuttles and "negotiate." They're always looking for more people to cram on. If you get them to bid against each other, you can sometimes get a good deal.

Just a note: check the rental car prices during your trip. We just had one last weekend for $48 for 3 days. For two of us, it was cheaper and quicker than a shuttle from LAX. AND we had a car for quick trips from our hotel to places that weren't as easily walked as the parks were.

We just used Super Shuttle on our trip in December to WDW. What a nightmare!!! We'll never use them again. The way there was fine. The problem was the pickup at LAX. The rep had no idea when someone would be there even though we had a reservation. She was rude and very unhelpful. I called the 800 number and they said I had to deal with the rep there. We ended up waiting over an hour outside LAX at midnight. I'd use someone else. Then they stopped twice so it took forever to get home.

How/where did you get such a good rate? I'm looking at car rentals right now for our trip early March. So far the best I've found is around $140 for a compact plus taxes & fees for 4 days. Crazy high! I am flying into Long Beach so maybe that makes a little difference in price, not sure. Thanks!

We used supershuttle on our recent trip, and it worked out great. Nice clean van. Pick up was right on schedule for the ride back to the airport. Not sure what else you can hope for in an airport shuttle:)

We got the rate from Avis, using a code. I always check on carrentals.com to see what the going rates are...also hotwire.com.

Then go to rentalscodes.com and write down any codes that apply to your time frame and go to the individual car rental sites and plug in the codes and see what you get. Remember that you can always change/cancel a rental car ressie if something better comes along.

Good luck!!!

i always always always use super shuttle and ive never had a problem with them. i love that when you make reservations, you can give them your flight information, and that way if yr flight gets delayed for any reason, they have access to that information and yr not stranded at the airport b/c the shuttle left w/o you when you didnt get off the plane on time.

So they have to work harder to provide good customer service and hold the drivers to it. They are almost always cheaper as well.

mmm - our driver in July from the airport to hotel was surly (to teh point of being rude) - driver back was nice though. Supershuttle came out cheaper for us using the coupon on the OC website so just booked that for a weeks time

If you book SupperShuttle through http://anaheimoc.org using their coupon, you can save $2 each way through 4/30.

I know you've probably already booked, but for anyone else who runs across this thread. We used coupon code UYR59 and got $3 off each way. I don't know if it's still good, but it's worth a try. Also we booked each of us seperately so we could both use the code. We got round trip from SNA for the both of us for $36 total.

They were a very good service. I would recommend them.

I have never tried Primetime Shuttle (I read horrible reviews) but I have used Supershuttle twice (2003 and 2006) and they were great both times.

I have also used the Disneyland Express (2009) when they had the "everyone pays the kids rate" deal and while they were not as convenient as Supershuttle was, they were still pretty good.

Have used Supershuttle 7 times and never had a problem. I think the code always works, as I have used it numberous times.

I just used coupon code QWEST for Super Shuttle and recieved 15% off; $108 total LAX to DLH round trip. It's a good deal so I thought I would pass it on. Prime Time quote was $120 round trip and that was with the 7% discount they offer for booking online.

I also use Super Shuttle, and like jwhits, I used QWEST as a code, and got 15% off. For three of us roundtrip the cost was $90 and change from Long Beach to the hotel. We saved $7.95 each way.

Prime Time is a little cheaper than Super Shuttle, but the drivers are awful. I have had major problems with them on 4 different shuttles, so I am back to Super Shuttle. I am happy to pay a few extra dollars to get somewhere safely and in a timely fashion.
