DREAMS really do come true! 1/30 4-day Cruise Report with Tons of Photos! Video done!

This is the best TR EVER! :yay:

Thanks

Spectacular!
Thanks!

:thanks: for reading :goodvibes

How did you find out about the galley tour, if it wasn't on the Navigator?

It was offered to Michelle as a Platinum Castaway Club member...our room host left a letter in our room announcing the time and place. :thumbsup2

Thank you for the amazing photos - I particularly appreciate the early morning top deck photos - as that is my favorite time/place on the cruise --

Quiet decks- peaceful ocean - sunrise---spectacular!

Like the ad says---PRICELESS (not really - but cruise is already paid for by then - LOL)

Yes, it sure is great time those early mornings! :cloud9:

Loving it!!!!

Thanks Karen :teeth:

Me three!:Awesome job as usual Cass!

Thanks Rose

You are a DREAM to a person who loves to read trip reports (like myself) :goodvibes:thumbsup2

I LOVE reading trip reports so I make sure I write them every trip :disrocks:

i thought i know the Wonder before we boarded for our first cruise in '09

i'm convinced i know this ship much better just from your tr alone.

when we board the Dream in a year and a half and I get lost I think i may have to turn in my DIS Junkie status

Glad I could help you out :jumping3:

Great pictures! I cannot wait to hear your thoughts on those areas, especially the adult pool area.

All done :smokin:

Excellent pics of the top decks Cass. Your TR is over the top on info and pics. Great job.

Few questions if you don't mind:

1. I see the golf clubs/balls are out (i.e. not a CM handing them to you). Is the mini golf open all the time? BTW, loving that they "dummied" it up with the lines for hitting the ball. :rotfl:

2. The opening above the adult pool looks small, does much sun shine on it?

3. Did you ride the AquaDuck?

1-Yup, 24/7 :thumbsup2

2-On the pool, yes...on the surrounding area...nope

3-Mebbe :earboy2:

Oh my goodness! How many of those windows were shattered like that? I've seen a least a couple, I think, in your pictures. Wasn't there one shattered like this on one of the concierge verandas? That's awful. They'll end up having to replace all of them if they are breaking like that already.

I saw two of them on deck 11 near Cabanas and one on a concierge verandah. :scared: I read in another report that it happened on the crossing but I'm not 100% sure of that. :guilty:

Well, I am just going to have to ride Aqua Duck! You make it sound fabulous, which I'm sure it is!

Thanks for a great, thorough report. Love all the pics. You have renewed my excitement for our upcoming trip. I had been feeling rather weighed down by some of the negative reports coming back. Can't wait until next week!

Amazing!!!! Thank you for spending so much time to inform us of what awaits us when we arrive for our cruise:) I am so excited...your pictures are awesome!!!!!

How crazy was it to get a longer in Quiet Cove -- on either deck?

Not sure....sorry, I don't go near the pools during the day, I need to stay in the shade as much as possible. The adult area on deck 11 was pretty busy on the sea day though ::yes::

Well, in my opinion it was fantastic!! I giggled like a little girl every single time! :goodvibes But I guess like everything else, to each their own ;) I hope you like it!

I wouldn't put too much weight into those bad reviews, I think most of them stem from the Dream's newness. They will eventually get things running smoothly ;)

Thanks, I am just so lucky to have sailed her so I am happy to share my experience with everyone else :cool1:

How many of those windows were shattered?? It looks terrible! :worried:

Are we sure they were shattered? Could they have been a design feature?

Anyway, Cass - Beyond WONDERFUL trip report! You are making me SO excited for our cruise... in TWO DAYS!!!

Are we sure they were shattered? Could they have been a design feature?

Nope, definitely shattered. I was just reading about the concierge cabins and someone mentioned that they upgraded at port to concierge only to find out that their veranda glass was shattered and they couldn't see through it. :headache:

The family hot tub kinda ewwwks me out..:scared::sick:

I'm thinking the same thing Sistah P.

Because of the crowds??? :confused3

Kids (and probably some adults) + warm water = :scared1:

****

Awesome pictures Cass. I think you covered just about everything too...except the gift shops? Maybe I missed those pics though. :)

Hey! One accident on our BOB cruise and you're going to hold it against me forever?:rolleyes1;);):rotfl:
I'M KIDDING!!:upsidedow

Thanks again Cass for such a great report!:worship::worship::worship:

ya but that's why you're swimming in chlorine in public pools

we don't put nearly the amount in our pool at home as the do in public pools

Cass, sorry - another question...:rolleyes1

On the aqua duck - when you go over the "joins" on the tube in your little boat, can you feel it?

I dont want my "dodgy" back seizing on me if its bump bump bump all the way down as I'll be laid up in bed for the rest of the week!

I got a few pics of the gift shops...haven't gotten to it yet but soon ;)

Thanks again Cass for such a great report!

I guess so. I just think of kids in warm water means--well you know. I guess the crowd made it worse for me...:lmao:

No biggie, though. To each his own, I say....:goodvibes

That's why I like the adult ones :goodvibes I'm sure you and Rob could sneak away to the QC area :thumbsup2

There were two places where I could definitely feel it when I went over the joints...at the very beginning and then right near the end...if you sit up a little then you won't feel it so bad. Plus when you ride with two people, you can feel it even more because of the weight

Other than that, it was good. :thumbsup2 I have a very bad back so I know exactly what you mean! ::yes::

Excellent - forewarned is forearmed:thumbsup2....beginning and end:thumbsup2... plus I'll ride with Ellis,...he's a LOT lighter than Neil:lmao:

Keep the trippie coming Cass, Neil and I are loving it:cheer2:
