I can't believe how fast the time has gone since this whole threa was started. The PTR, then the TR & now a new PTR. Love reading about the adventures of your family. Maybe, if I get my nerve up, I will right a PTR or TR.

This whole year has flown by! You should definitely do a PTR or TR -- they are lots of fun to write!

I am always amazed at how the northern schools go up until just a couple of days before Christmas. I am so used to having a chunk of time beforehand.

Your shirt is cute & I just love my Illuminations CD. I had never really listened as I watched Illuminations until my DS Ryan (who is a musician) said to me one time "listen to the music" & I ended up buying the CD. I love it!!

May 27 through June 2!

Doing good, just been insanely busy! My DIS hiatus started because I decided to make a scrapbook for my mom from our trip for Christmas. Then I got the bright idea to do it digitally, I've never done digital scrapbooking so I had to learn how to do it first, then I spent every spare minute I had working on it. It was a lot of effort, but I'm thrilled with the result, and doing it digitally allowed me to make a duplicate one for myself! I'm pretty much ready for Christmas, gifts are all purchased & wrapped, all I have left to do is finish baking all the goodies for Jared's teachers tomorrow so that he can give them to them on his last day of school on Wednesday. How bout you??

Was it hard to figure out the digital scrapbooking? I want to give that a try since all of our photos are digital these days anyway!

I'm sad your report is over (even more sad that I missed most of it ), but excited to hear that you will be starting a PTR soon! It sounds like maybe you are going to be there same time as Wigd, which makes me think it's an end of May trip.....

It is an end of May trip -- Wigd and I are already making plans to meet up! Is your cruise the same one Anita is taking?

Oh so sad your trip is over. So many memorable moments for your family! I can totally relate to the drink cup thing. We have had so many of those that never get used. And don't get me started on the souvie tropical drink cups! I'm sure someday I'll throw a HUGE cocktail party and serve the drinks in all my cups!

All I can say is that I totally understand the end of the trip daze, and that is the way it can be after having nonstop fun for five or more days!!! I also love that you got your final shopping in and relaxed a bit before leaving that is the way you have to do it. We were like that this last trip, b/c our AP had expired, and it was great. There are so many things to do just enjoying the resorts! Love the Teeshirts!!!

Can't wait to hear all about your new adventures!!!

Great TR Jackie!! I was a bit behind but got all caught up this afternoon... wasn't as far behind as I'd thought.

We have park time planned on our last day for the first time in March. I've had park time on departure day without the kids so I'm anxious to see how it goes... hoping it doesn't backfire and cause us to have a horrible trip home!!

Is a digital scrapbook like a dvd or cd? My DH makes cds of our vacation pictures, adds music & fancy fades. These are pretty cool & the music fits perfectly with the subject matter in the photos. He does it with Moviemaker by Microsoft.

No, not really. There is digital scrapbooking software available, I saw alot of good reviews of the one made by Creative Memories, but I already have Photoshop Elements so I just used it. I found some online video tutorials, bought some kits and got to work. It gets easier as you get used to working with the layers and I loved that I could add something and then if I didn't like it, just delete it - no big deal! Switching and resizing pictures to fit the page was super easy too.

We are on the same cruise, and I'm really excited about that!

Our plan right now is to drive from Atlanta to Orlando on the 2nd so we could be passing each other on the freeway! If I can talk Don into it though maybe we can get there a day earlier and have a chance to meet up?? We won't have park tickets though....

Making a digital scrapbook is really quite similar to making a traditional paper scrapbook, only instead of using 'real' paper and embellishments you are using digital ones and creating your page totally on your computer. Then you can have the pages printed individually and put them into a scrapbook or you can have a book printed out of multiple pages, which is what I did. I was going to post an example from my book here, but photobucket is acting up and I can't access my account

We were so exhausted by the end of the week -- mainly from the heat, I think -- that we just could not get excited about heading into a park.

Wait until you see the hoodie that came for Connor from the Disney Store -- it is soooo cute! Another potential hand-me-down for your boys if he doesn't wear it out like he did this last one.

I am sure there will be lots of new adventures -- or at least some humorous dramatic moments!
