Yay! I am so happy that the package got there! The girls look so happy! Emily's smile is beautful,and that picture of Brenna in her dress just melts my heart. You are very welcome, I just love seeing the smiles light up their faces!

Also meant to add that it was very appropriate that Brenna was wearing a princess tiara to open the package!

Thank you so so much again. Both of Emily's nurse have seen the dresses now and they about fell over when they saw them!

Also, I forgot to say an even bigger thank you for making the little opening in the dress for Em's g tube to go through. That was so thoughtful! I have been so excited about the dresses that I didn't even notice it until this morning!


Brenna was already wearing her princess crown before she even knew we had a package to open! The girl LOVES to dress up!

I had to pick Emily (and her nurse) up from school on Thursday because she had a slight fever. She normally runs low, and rarely gets a fever. She had had a slightly runny nose and started with a dry cough the day before, but I was hoping it was just a little cold. Took her to the doctor and he heard a crackle in her lung and gave her an antibiotic for a sinus infection and the beginnings of pneumonia.

As of today, the antibiotics seem to have kicked in and she has been fever free, and the cough and runny nose are almost gone already. I think we caught it quickly enough to nip it in the bud.

On Friday we received 2 more Big Gives!!!! Emily was sleeping off the sickies all day and I waited for all the kids and Dh again. Luckily it was an early day today, everyone home by 3:45!

The first package came from Flora (Purple Ears). I choked my way through the very sweet card and then started opening the package.

The card had said she made a shirt for me but when Brenna saw it she immediately said "that's for me?" (in this session she's wearing one of her princess dress up skirts on her head - "it's pretty pink hair!" ) So here is Brenna reacting to me explaining that it's a shirt for Mommy -

Then I tolder her I would let her try it on . . .

All better!

I love the classic black/red/white mickey & minnie so I just LOVE this!!!!!

Then we got a BIG box from Chiara O. (cogero)!

Seems like Em is feeling better, but for some reason she had a slight temp back at school today after no temp all weekend and feeling/acting well. She was fine all night, so I'm hoping it was a fluke.

We got another Big Give box today, I took pics and will try to post them sometime tomorrow!!

Look at the smiles on those kids faces!! Just priceless!!!!! The princess dresses are beautiful (great job, Ellen!)....I got tears in my eyes seeing them so happy with them.

We've now gotten 3 Big Gives that I need to post so hopefully I'll be able to get those pics up tonight!

Ok, I am very behind so here comes a LOAD of Pics!

These all arrived this past week, though being sick I'm a little foggy on the days!

First we received a big box of love from The Wilson Family:

She sent each of the kids their own tote bag filled with Disney goodies, and a super sweet diaper bag with perfect toys for Em!

This is Emily's new favorite toy!!

The kids were ripping into things so fast the pics aren't so great!
Here are Drew's Cars playing cards - each of the boys got a deck of cards, a glow stick, a coloring pack, and a Toy Story t shirt

Brenna also got princess playing cards, a coloring pack and glow stick, but she loved this of course! A tinkerbell costume!!!!!

Yesterday we got yet another big box from Cheryl (aboveH2O)

Everything was wrapped with a cute name tag sticker for each of us.

She made Drew, brenna, and Carter each their I Spy Bag, with their name on it. Here is Carter opening his bag!

She made a special "feely" bag for Em, so perfect, and even attached a clamp to hook it to her chair! Each quarter of the bag is filled with something different, buttons, beads, bells, and one with just soft stuffing (Did I get that right?) . Then the back is all soft orange plush, her favorite color!

Then she made my DH and I toiletry bags, Minnie and Mickey! They were filled with goodies too!
