for items to have in your room on arrival? MY Dh and I are celebrating our anniversary and I would love to have the Package from Micky and Minnie with the rose petals, chocolate, bed turned down, candles, monogrammed towels, and spa set but it is quite pricey. Has anyone purchase it, and loved it? I would love to add a bottle of champaign and disney flutes to it.

Just looking for feedback on wether it seems worth the price.

I want it to be a nice surprise:love:, not a "you paid how much:scared1:?

No I find it to be over priced. In WDW most things are. BTW I am a deluxe girl so I save to go. Still florist imo is too expensive.

We've done the florist a couple of times, but both times they delivered Waaaaay late in the day/evening. The first time, we got it around 6pm and the 2nd it was around 7:30-8pm. It was a little annoying because they were both supposed to be gifts for my husband (anniversary once, birthday once) and they were just so late with them it messed up our dinner reservations and I had to let me husband know about the "surprise" both times. Sigh.

The 2nd time was most annoying because I ordered it 2 weeks in advance. That's the one that came after 7:30pm. It had a mix of international beers for my husband as well as a bottle of champagne for use to share, but they were all uncooled when we got the package - they didn't bother to keep the basket cool. So, we couldn't even use it that night. If it had come at 3-4pm, at least we could have cooled it in time :(

I think they told me AFTER I called to ask why it took so long that they will not deliver alcohol packages unless you are in the room at the time. They have to verify there is an adult in the room. I explained we had been there since 2pm, but then they admitted that a lot of times they wait until the end of the day to deliver packages with alcohol so they can make sure people are in the room. I have no idea if it's true or not, but that's what they told me back then...

that all said - there were both nice arrangements...

I used them last year to have flowers sent to the room for DW on our anniversary. I didn't try to have them in the room prior to check in though. They are very expensive, but the arrangement was beautiful, and looked great throughout the entire trip:

Yes, I had an arrangement delivered to our room for Valentine's Day (this year), which was also our arrival day. The room wasn't ready until 4, however the arrangement was already there. A bit pricey, however my wife loved it, so it was worth it.

Last year my daughter's boyfriend sent her flowers on Valentine's Day and used Disney Florist. They were beautiful. Actually I would say that they were the prettiest arrangement I have ever seen!

I don't know what he paid but I'm sure it was not cheap.

Thanks for everyone's responses. I decided not to go this route. It would have been a nice surprise but, I decided that the money could probably be used for something else while we are there. Because we are going without kids it will be much easier to have a "romantic" time and we can still buy some Mickey Stemware and enjoy a glass of wine or champagne.

Does anyone know if we can buy champagne by the bottle (or wine)in Epcot to take back to our room???
Also, if we are walking with a drink in Epcot can you exit the park with it....we might like to take a walk towards Beach Club and wondered if we can wander with our drink in hand? I assume you can't board any Disney Transportation with alcohol.

Marge from Wegoshop always delivers wine and beer to our room. Not sure about getting a bottle in Epcot. I think there is a store in Epcot, Italy or France, that sells bottled wine and champagne. But I am sure the prices are really high. Marge charges a delivery fee on whatever she purchases, check out her site. We love her service.

We have actually used her before :thumbsup2 for groceries....never thought about adult beverages. Probably by the time we pay her deliver fee, it would be about the same to buy a bottle in Epcot.

Thanks!

DH has ordered multiple times for me through Disneyflorist.com.
Once he had a delivery to me and some friends in a room next to our at CR.
He wanted them at the time of check in. However, we did check in a few hours early. However the flowers were delivered to our rooms right before we left for dinner.
I have been very happy with everything he has had sent to me from the florist. Their product is first rate. :thumbsup2

At the wine shop in Italy buy a bottle of Rosa Regale. Yes you ccan take it back to your resort...unopened of course. It is a sparkling wine that is amazing!! If you want to be sure you like it buy a glass to sample first :D

we used disney florists on our last trip. I was very happy with them and they were not expensive for what you get. I got things for my girls and an arrangement delivered to my MIL's room. it was an adorable arrangement, I was very pleased with it as was my MIL. the girls' stuff was delivered to our room while we were there the CM played it up that Mickey wanted them to deliver them. and my MIL's arrangement came while we were at the park. she was so surprised. highly recommend.:yay:

my husband used Disney Florist 2x to surprised me...I wasn't really happy with them. I have used memoriesbybetsy for surprises for my son and I think her stuff is worth it. I think Disney Florist is overpriced too and the package I got was just so so.

We will be arriving in Disney on Sept 24 to celebrate our 1 year anniversary, and we will be participating in the Wine and Dine Half Marathon... Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I could do to surprise my DH? I am currently looking at the disney florist website, but I am not creative when it comes to doing something like this for my DH. Any suggestions would be appreciated

:) I would just pack a gift bag and paper. For my DH it would be an ITunes card or gift card for something in the park. I 2008 I brought a Mickey gift bag and placed all kinds of goodies in it with a piece of tissue paper and when they left the room, I put it there. Would he like the segway tour or keys to the kingdome tour. DH and I enjoyed the Keys tour very much.

Now, we were in WDW last year from My 41st bday and he had a precious arrangement sent to the room. I was taking a shower and didn't even hear them come in. I can look across from my desk into the kitchen and see my little arrangement mug on the counter. I loved it.

Maybe an Illuminations cruise?

Hey what about a session with a photopass photographer? I don't know the number to set it up but the pics look great and I think the session is about 20 minutes.

Thanks!:thumbsup2 Just wrote it down on our things to do in Epcot list!

I have used Memories By Betsy, and I loved her... I did order from Disney Florist last October, when we went to WDW.. I got the Halloween bags for both kids... Although the bags were nice, and chucked full of goodies, for the money I think Memories by Betsy is just as nice..... Good Luck!!!

From what I understand, you can tell the Disney Florist what you are trying to do and they can probably come up with something creative for you - not just what you see on their website.
