No, I am :) it won't be for at least 3 years, though. I want to finish school first. But moving back to Orlando is definitely the plan. :goodvibes

Wow I'd LOVE to have 12 days off of work, congrats! :cool1: I'm happy that I'll be having 6 days off in November, I really need a break!!! I've been so stressed lately, this vacation cannot come fast enough! :)

You're family reunion sounds like fun! Hope you get to do that, I think going to both parties would be sooo much fun!

How awesome that you get that much PTO!! :cool1:

The reunion sounds so much fun; what a great plan to go for both parties, too! I might have to borrow that idea in a few years!

Not all of it's paid, obviously, but it still totals twelve days :teeth: I need a break :lmao: There's a fair bit of drama at work and I just want to get away from it for a while.

I think it'll be fun as long as everyone goes into it wanting to have a good time. I'm excited about it, since I want to take my niece to get done up as a princess :teeth: She'll be 6 by then.

Well, the 12 days includes my regular time off, which (obviously) isn't paid. It just worked out to be 12 days because of how my days off fell. With our schedule, we don't work more than three days in a row on our regular schedule, but we can work extra if the need arises (call ins or whatever). Basically, for that time period, I have regular days off Wednesday and Thursday, paid time off Friday, Saturday, Sunday, regular off Monday and Tuesday, paid time off Wednesday and Thursday, regular off Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Then I go back to work Monday. But yeah, I really need a break :lmao:

My sister didn't understand why I wanted to go at that time until I told her about the parties and the F&W. She would LOVE the F&W festival, since she's actually really adventurous when it comes to food. Plus, with her and Jade (my niece) and Jerry (Becky's boyfriend and Jade's dad) living in Idaho, we never get to see them at the holidays, so we can have a mini-Christmas if we're there for the party, you know?

But yeah, borrow away :teeth:

I'm also planning a big family trip for the future, April 2013 to be exact. (my son's 5th birthday). I think I read somewhere that the fantasyland rehab should be done by then! Even more reason to celebrate!

Yay, that'll be awesome! :cheer2: I've already started looking into planning things, so if you need any help or want any suggestions (like my Epcot surprise, which I can PM you about if you want), let me know, especially since ours will be before yours :teeth: The other two reasons I picked the time frame I did (aside from the parties and the F&W) is because my brother's birthday is October 29, and Jade's (my niece) is September 30 :lmao:

I can't see your pictures since my work computer has a stupid firewall but I'm just popping over to say hello and subscribe and I will catch up tonight!

ETA: If you're still planning to go to MNSSHP on 10/26, HeatherBelle and I (and our significant others) are having a DIS meet if you'd like to join us! The more the merrier, I say!

:welcome: :rotfl:

I hate computers that have firewalls like that :headache: I use my personal computer at work with a mobile broadband card, so I can do pretty much whatever I want online. I work overnight, though, which is why I bring my laptop :lmao: Anyway, welcome! Hope you have fun reading!

And yes, I am planning on still hitting up the MNSSHP on 10/26! I'm going to all three the week that I'm there because I'm completely insane :lmao: But yeah, I'm going to be there with PrincessInOz and LuvChefMic :) We're having dinner at Liberty Tree around 5 and then I'm not sure what the plan is after that (I don't like to plan minute by minute), but I'm sure we can all meet up at some point :cutie:

ooooh PM me please! i want to plan a bunch of surprises too!

So I've figured out how I'm getting to the airport for my flight down to Orlando. When my mom works, she has to be there at 6am most days, so she's going to drive me down to the airport so that I'm there at 5:30 and then head to work. I would just take the CTA, but it's not exactly a safe ride at that time of the morning, as I'd have to leave my house around 4 or 4:30am.

I've picked a laptop bag, but have to buy it. I'm also going to run to a couple of stores here in Chicago and see what they have available, as the one I picked out online is a little more than I wanted to spend, plus shipping. I've also figured out my other two costumes. I have my pirate one and just need to buy a pair of bike shorts to wear underneath, and for a second one, I'll just wear a black skirt and shirt that I already own and make a devil tail and buy horns off the internet. For the third, I'm just going to buy a MNSSHP t-shirt and wear it with jeans :lmao:

I'm not going to be able to buy my airfare this week, though, as I'm having some pretty severe dental pain and need to go to the dentist ASAP. I get paid on Friday, so I'm hoping I can get an appointment for that afternoon before I have to go to work. I've had an abscess on the lower right side of my mouth for over a year and a half, but I didn't have dental insurance until recently and then didn't have money for the copay. So hopefully I'll be able to get it taken care of soon. I'm also still hoping for a Ding fare, though, so that will hopefully be better for my wallet :lmao:

Does anyone have any suggestions of things to put in an informational email regarding a family reunion or other large group going to WDW? I'm trying to put one together so I can just send it out to everyone interested in our reunion, but I'm sure I'm missing something.

I hope your mouth feels better soon! I know how bad that can make you feel.

I would recommend including links in your email so that your family can look at their different options for dining, etc. That way they can do their research so that when concrete plans are made everyone is on the same page! :goodvibes

I hope so, too. I'm going to call the dentist tomorrow and see if they have any openings on Friday. I also found out that my new doctor office (yay HMOs) is an hour and a half away on the bus  If I had a car, it would be fifteen minutes. Maybe my mom will let me borrow her car for doctor appointments :sad2: At least my optometrist is close.

I put up a post on the tips board and someone suggested doing separate emails for everything, which will definitely help keep the emails readable and not mind-numbingly long :lmao: But I do plan on having everyone ELSE do their dining reservations. I'll do my own and the two group ones, plus my surprises. Nothing else. With a six year old, a diabetic, a vegan, and a whole mess of carnivores, I don't want to be the one handling the dining reservations all week :lmao:

Ugh good luck with the dentist! :goodvibes I can't stand having pain in my mouth, it totally ruins everything! When my wisdom tooth got infected last year, it was like, the worst pain in my life, I just sat on the floor at work, crying, unable to do anything. :( Hope you feel better! And hope you get your Ding! fare! :)

Oh god, tell me about it. I've had this abscess since I was working at Disney, that's how long I've had it. When it was first really bad, my manager actually sent me home because I couldn't look happy on stage and was just downright miserable. It hurt to breathe, you know? I actually slept through my alarm this morning, so I didn't get a chance to call the dentist yet, so I'm going to call them tomorrow.

My airfare actually went up $17 yesterday, so I'm really hoping for a Ding fare. They're still sending out fares for September, so I'm hoping that they'll start on October soon.

I can't believe you have had that for so long and it didn't get any worse!!! :scared1: I mean, when my wisdom tooth was infected, it started out as an annoying pain at first, but then in a few days, it was agonizing! I called my dentist and they put me on antibiotics and then took it out a few days later! If your abscess is anything like that, I don't know how you're dealing with it!

So Ding fares go by month? Are they like, seats they can't sell or something, so they put them on sale? I never check my Ding thing anymore, there was never anything near me! :confused3

Oh, it's gotten worse. The infection has spread to about half of my gumline, but I didn't have dental insurance until recently. When I was in Disney, I didn't have insurance or the money to pay for it out of pocket and it got so bad that I called my mom in tears and she sent me to a walk-in clinic and they took her credit card over the phone. They gave me an antibiotic and Darvocet for the pain. It doesn't really hurt right now, it's just pressure in the side of my mouth from the swelling.

I think they do, but I'm not 100% sure. It seems like it, anyway. Every fare I've gotten lately has said "travel from September 1 through September 30, 2010", so I'm assuming that they just go by month. I also think that they do it to try and fill up the plane, since not everyone can afford higher fares. I do love Southwest, though, even with their weird policies :lmao:

 Thanks for asking, but I'm actually still at work :lmao: I get off in two hours, so I'm going to call the dentist after I get some sleep and see if they have any appointments for Friday or this weekend. It doesn't really hurt right now, there's just still pressure from the swelling, but I know that it's going to start hurting again at some point. :headache: I'm so glad I'm insured again. It sucked so much being uninsured for so long.

;)
