Wow! I am so sorry about the freezing rain, but the low crowds look great! I agree about Space Mountain. I like it, but I felt that it was very rough! I am happy you found a warm seat in the bakery! Yeah, I think bigger coats would have made the whole week easier. I will never go back to Disney during the Winter again without one!

I don't think I've ever seen MK as dead as it was that day - there was no one there!

Never been to the Main Street Bakery?! Oh, you must go...it's so cute and the food is yummy! It's a neat little place to stop for a breakfast treat.

It was so yummy! I love the croissant sandwiches from the Main Street Bakery! If I wasn't always so concerned with getting in line for all of our favorite attractions I would stop there for breakfast every time I'm at MK!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who though SM was kind of headache inducing! I really think they did something during the recent refurb because I don't remember it being that bad last year.

I think Main Street Bakery might be one of my favorite places in Magic Kingdom! It's so cute and everything I've ever had from there has been delicious. I just found out that in 10 days (eeee, so close!) I'm heading to WDW for a quick extended-weekend trip...and I can't wait!!! I requested a stop at Main St. Bakery! lol

Ooohh, I might need to try this frozen coffee drink sometime. I also really want to try their famous cinnamon rolls, but I always go back to the croissant - it's just so yummy!

Well, the one good thing about the rain and cold is the nearly empty Main Street. Your pictures turned out awesome! And those treats looked so good, too. Sorry about your SM ride not living up to what you had hoped it would be. I was hoping since they had SM down for so long, that the refurb would be a bit different, not just more of the same. Yeah, I couldn't notice any change in SM other than how much jerkier it was! Not what I was expecting I'm hoping some of that was just because I was already queasy from the bus ride

DAY 7 – Pt. 3

After warming up at the Main Street Bakery, we decided to go visit our favorite Pirates! So, we headed over to Adventureland to…

Once again we were greeted with zero lines. However, right as we were about to board our boat, we were stopped and told we had to wait. Which we did…for nearly 20 minutes! Apparently there were some technical difficulties that needed to be fixed before we could ride. On the bright side, at least that was 20 minutes spent indoors and not outside in the cold!

Finally, we were able to take our ride – which was of course enjoyable as always, and spend a bit of time browsing in the gift shop before we headed back out into the rain, and on to Frontierland for another ride on BTMRR!

It was here that we had our first run in with the Brazillian tour groups! Yes… in January!!! Proof that you can run in to them at any time during the year! Ugh…they were so incredibly obnoxious. There must have been 200 of them waiting in the line for BTMRR – and every single one of them was screaming and cheering and clapping

We eventually made it to our train and had a great ride, but I was feeling sad about our day. I was so hoping that our final park day would be a great one – full of lots of fun and Disney magic. But so far, that just wasn’t happening.

While leaving Frontierland, we of course had to stop at the shooting arcade – one of FI’s favorite spots. He would probably spend an hour here if I let him!

Meanwhile, this was how I was feeling about how our final park day was turning out...

Just kidding!

I was cold, and had a bad headache. And I was pretty sick of the arcade by that point, but you can't be too upset at Disney, right?!

Finally I was able to tear Miguel away from the arcade, and we ventured back towards the front of the park and took the time to get some nice shots of the castle.

Around 12:30,we had already ridden most of what we set out to ride and we were both so cold that we decided to just call it a day and return back to AKL. I needed to get rid of my headache (which usually requires a quick nap) and we had lots of packing to do before we left the next day.

Don’t worry though…we would be returning to MK later that night – and I promise it turned out much better than our daytime attempts!

Thankfully, our return trip home on the bus was much less eventful than our earlier ride. We had seats this time! And it was a quick and painless ride.

Lunch today was again at the Mara and was delicious. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures. I ordered the pepperoni flatbread, which was much better than the chicken one I got a few days earlier. In fact, this little pizza was excellent! I really enjoyed it. I also got another slice of the delicious cheesecake, which again, did not disappoint.

FI chose the half chicken dinner, which is served with one side (he picked fries). Also, since he isn’t a big dessert eater, the CM at the Mara allowed us to substitute a side salad for his dessert. He ended up making some sort of chicken salad out of his meal and said it was wonderful! This was our best meal from the Mara during the week.

The rest of our afternoon consisted of a nap for me , some tv watching for FI and of course more animal viewing!

COMING UP: Finally, some pixie dust! A magical final evening at Disney – filled with lots of pictures!

Oh man DH is the same way!!!! He could be in the arcade forever! And never leave if I let him! But this trip he lost money so he was a little bit upset. I had to pull him away to get his mind off of it.

I'm sorry it was soooooo cold. Man! I would have been kind of sad too!! But I can't wait to hear what's coming up next!!!
