Trails End, Tonys Town Square, Coral Reef.. pick one

which one would you choose for dinner? We have lots of character dinners... looking to branch out from our regulars. I already have the Hoop Dee Doo... so the Luau is out... (I dont want to use two more TS)... any other suggestions??

Since you have Hoop-De-DO I would choose Tony's otherwise I would have choosen Trails's End. I have not done Tony's yet but am planning this next trip. Trails End is one of the best IMHO. Coral Reef I fine not all that great food wise.

Since you are doing Hoop-De-Doo, and Tony's is pretty horrible food. (And I don't often say that at Disney really) I would go with Coral Reef. We went in 2008 and 2009. Both times the food was good but not great everyone enjoyed their meals both times. If you have kids they would love the atmosphere. The only thing is when being seated, ask that you do NOT sit in the back tier. You can request a table on the glass, but the problem is you could wait an hour to get it. The views of the tanks are good anywhere, unless your in the back row. We requested last trip "Not the back tier" and we were given a table on the glass.

I would avoid Tony's. On our trip a few weeks ago I had the Turkey panini and then got sick afterwards. It was really a bummer. The food was OK. I think it was better on past trips.

We love Coral Reef.
We have always enjoyed our meals (love the creamy lobster soup, Mahi Mahi, NY Strip, and Lobster Ravioli). The atmosphere is lovely. Last year we were lucky enough to be seated next to the tank and had the pleasure of dining with the HUGE sea turtle who decided to take his afternoon nap next to our table. I will say the service was a bit slow...not the best place to dine if you are in a hurry to be somewhere. We are planning on having lunch there (will be our 4th time) in Aug.

ETA: I would avoid Tony's. We had one of worst meals on property there. We had my 40th B-Day dinner there last June and just about everything we had was inedible.

In all my planning, I've read great things about Coral Reef and Trails End. If it were me, I would pick Trails End but that's because I love me some good BBQ.

But, the DW want's to try Tony's and see if we can get a seat to watch the parade on our MK day, so that's the route we will be going. Hopefully we will hit them on a "good" day.

Coral Reef - it was my second favorite meal after California Grill on my last trip. Trail's End is ehh, not a good selection for a buffet. I was not impressed. I have never eaten at Tony's, but the menu doesn't appeal to me and dining reviews on the place do not spark interest for me.

If you do HDDR early in your trip,and enjoy the food(we always do),then go to Trails End later in your trip.Maybe catch the campfire movie while there.

My vote is for Coral Reef. We had a wonderful meal there and loved the atmosphere. Our meal at Tony's was so-so.
