My husband and I both have a Disney visa, but got the offer in the mail today. Can we have another account? Or do I need to close one or both and reapply to receive the $200?

Wow! That's a great incentive. My husband and I have a Disney Visa, and when they announced you could get a $100 giftcard for applying, he applied for his own account and got the giftcard. The first one we had was evidentally in my name and he was just an authorized user with his own card. I am now an authorized user on his account and have my own card. So I have 2 cards! I LOVE them!

I got it in the mail today. Just wondering if anyone who already has their own account and got this offer applied for another one. Is it possible to have two accounts in your name?

Nope - i tried it and was denied. Now I don't think we'd have enought time to get the card in my husband's name and charge on it before our end of April trip.

We got the $200 gc also....actually we're constantly getting offers like that. I finally convinced DH to call and get it last night.

You can definitely apply. I have 3 Disney VISA cards - all in my name only. Of course, approval depends on your current CC's limits and balances and your income. Heck, I'd at least apply - at least there's a chance for you to get another card and $200 DD.

I really wish I'd get this offer. I'd apply for a 4th card!

I've been hoping to get this offer as well.

I have an account, but we could open one for DH for the $200.

I'm assuming it's somewhat random, but it would be nice. I think it's just my luck. Never received a PIN for Disney in the past. We decided not to go this year and I've received 4.

We love our Disney Visa. I scored some great seats for Lion King Musical on tour and just got some coupons for Loews in the mail too. Great perks!

We already have one and also got the offer. Read the fine print on the back. It states the offer is for new cardmembers upon approval. So if you already have a card in your name, I don't think it will do any good to apply again.

We just received the offer in the mail today. And not a moment too soon...I was planning on signing up for the card this weekend, using the $100 gift card promotion.

Now, hopefully, DH and I will each receive a $200 gift card with our new Disney Visas. That'll cover a good chunk of the food budget for our September trip!

I got the "new carmember only" promos ($50 disney dollars on card #2; $25 disney dollars on card #3) when I applied for, and was approved for, my second and my third cards. It never hurts to try. The absolute worst thing that can happen is that they say no.

we received the $200 gc offer and are so excited to use it on our upcoming trip. I also paid off the upcoming trip by putting it on the card so we could get another $250 to take with us too. Or we might let it sit until next years trip, haven't decided yet.

I recieved this offer. Finally decided to go for it....how can you resist $200. So I apply for it at the end of Feb., used it for one purchase and a couple weeks ago had already gotten the $200 applied to my account. I'm pretty sure they target a certain market.... I had made res. for March, then cancelled because of a conflict. Shortly after that I recieved the offer. So maybe the cancellation triggered the offer.

I know my mom received this same offer in the mail (or it may have been for $150) but she already has a Disney Visa. She called to see if she could apply for a second card to get the gift card. They told her that while she could apply for a second credit card, she was not eligible to receive the gift card.

Not sure what would happen if you canceled your other cards and then reapplied.
