akershus - picky eater?

I made an early ADR here for breakfast mainly because it seems to be the only TS breakfast in Epcot. However, just now looking at the menu and there does not seem to be anything that my boys will eat (other than fruit).

Will they provide an option for a picky eater if we ask? Maybe waffles or cereal? I would hate to have the boys miss the meal as our lunch ADR is not until 6 hours later.

thanks

you said boys? you do know this is a princess bfast?
:rotfl2:

Yes, I do know that it is a princess meal but we are only really there for the meal, although I do think the boys will enjoy the magic of seeing the princesses. :lmao:

i would save my money or table service credit, whatever the case may be for something more fitted to your family and eat breakfast at the foodcourt. just sayin.

The last time we went they had all kinds of pastires and cinnamon roll type things. Will they eat those?

The princesses were all very sweet to my boys and they ate up the attention.

LOL! I had to laugh at the boys comment. My mom and I are taking my 2 boys in October (DH is staying home this time). The oldest is going to be 4 and told me he was pretty upset last year when he didn't get to eat with the princesses, so could he please eat with them this year. We actually had a reservation last year and decided to cancel and skip Epcot. Guess we should've gone b/c we ended up having to go to MK and see them princesses there.

I think most places will find things your kids will eat. You can always call them in advance and see if they will make something they'll eat. I know they're helpful with dietary restrictions and such. We had great luck with finding things to eat last year.

We are vegetarian, and they provided our kids with a giant plate of waffles or pancakes. I don't remember which. They also had a cold bar with bagels/cream cheese and pasteries.

You can ask for pancakes. They will bring them free. Just tell them they are picky eaters. :) My daugther as well, won't eat eggs, bacon, sausage or the potato things. She eats the strawberries and pancakes. I eat them out of swiss cheese. It is so good!

The cold bar has pastries and fruit....my girls don't like eggs either so they always make a plate up with these and just have the potatoes and bacon along with it.

We didn't go to this breakfast because my dh dislikes eggs. It didn't seem worth it.
We went for lunch and enjoyed that instead.

I thought the breakfast we really good. There are lots of pastries and bread, as well as fruit, cheese and lunch meats. The eggs and potatoes were really good. EVerything was pretty kid friendly but not bland.

We took our three kids there, including two boys ages 2 and 7. Both boys loved it.

Maybe they might prefer the breakfast buffet at Cape May Cafe, which is a 5-10 minute walk to the Beach Club out the back entrance of Epcot (International Gateway). Minnie, Donald, and Goofy are there in their beachwear and the buffet selection is unbelievable. They've got a yogurt bar, tons of pastries, breakfast pizza, waffles, etc.

Yes, I was thinking the same thing. We are staying at the BC and already have a Cape May ADR and I didn't really want to go twice. I will try to move things around. If that doesn't work, we are just going to try it. I will bring some granola bars with us just in case the boys don't eat enough.

We are on the Delluxe Dining Plan and have several credits to use. :goodvibes

Cape May at the BC has a nice b/fast. Since there are only 3 characters, it's not as "crazy" as a Chef Mickeys. If you don't want to walk, there is a nice (slow) boat from the International Gateway.
