I more or less flew over there, what a great surprise! Jill is such a sweetheart!

Wow you had a busy evening and Harper did so well, she sounded incredibly cute on IASW

Harper did very well, lucky for her, when she was sleepy, she slept well in her stroller!

Isn't she? I was really thinking about driving down for Memorial Day weekend, but now that she has come up with this, I won't. It will be very nice to spend Mother's Day in Disney World with my 'girlie girls', as Brooklynn says I call them.

We did get the letters today.
They are on my desk and will be passed out tomorrow!
My mind was on the pep assembly that I was in charge of today.
It was our state assessment kick off!

Mentos geyers, banner run throughs for the 3rd, 4th and 5th graders.
It's over.
I can sleep again...

Work and things every night this week. Soccer season is in full swing for us. I burst into tears this morning when my alarm went off, and I realized it was only Thursday. I think I need the weekend to catch up on my sleep.

Yes, wigd, I have been a basket of emotions this week. I am so excited for Trent's job possibilities. Both guys talked to him about the physical training aspects, and since his degree is in business, I guess sort of grooming him to take a leadership role in the future. He and Jamie will have a lot of fun together, I know that. It will be an exciting new adventure for him, I know that, too. BUT, he is still and will always be my little boy of the past and the young man I rely on so much in the present. Not seeing him on a regular basis is going to be extremely different for both of us, but it's something we will get used to in time. Many mothers before me have cried for their sons, too, and they have all made it okay. Jill and I will visit as often as our pocketbooks allow, and Jamie seems very supportive of him/them driving up here pretty often, too.

I told him about possibly meeting up with you guys and tinkgurl and her fiance. He will have no idea of his schedule until he gets there, but he said he is definitely up for it.

I told him what you said about the steak, and his face lit up, but he said he would not be able to commit to a certain time now, so maybe he can take you up on a steak another trip.
