I'm confused. Hubby and I are currently in the condo we rent in winter and we are right on the ocean in Cape Canaveral. Just a few minutes ago, just after 11 pm, the Disney ship sailed by, on its way into port. I'm assuming it's the Wonder, but she shouldn't be here until 5 am or so tomorrow morning. Was there a change in schedule or is something wrong? How odd to arrive at this time of night!

I guess it would make sense that they just decided to head in early, but that's pretty atypical... Maybe there was a storm brewing at sea and they wanted to get into port to ensure safety? The only other thing I can think of is a medical emergency on board... I hope everyone and everything is okay... Hopefully someone will know more soon.

Your right, just clicked on the webcam, and there it was just passing by. I wonder what's up!

OK, that's weird. I clicked on the Port Canaveral webcam, and it shows a totally different camera angle. You used to be able to see the Wonder/Magic docked (at least the bow of the ship) along with the terminal for the RCCL, but not now.

Hoping everything is ok and they just decided to avoid a storm or something.

Wow, just checked the Radisson cam and the Wonder is there. Weird.

She would have had a Sea Day if she was on a normal schedule this week.

I just tried to pull up Radisson's webcam but it won't show me anything.

Still praying everything is ok.

First question.
Are we sure its the Wonder? The Magic was having issues with vibrations in the rear of the ship so its not out of the realm of impossibility that she came home early for unsheduled maintanace.

Same thing could apply to the Wonder.(Medical reason would be my first guess)

A ship is much safer at sea than she is in Port, which is why during a hurricane, all of the ships go to sea, and then get behind the storm, or at least out of its way.Look at the 1st hand account of the Magics Stbd side where she rubbed the pier bumpers all night in the wind.

I don't think it would be the Magic as somebody onboard the Magic posted Wednesday morning that due to expected weather at Grand Cayman they were going to skip that port and head towards the Bahamas and have an unscheduled stop at Nassau on Thursday followed by the normal stop at Castaway Cay on Friday.

We had some nasty weather yesterday here in the St. Petersburg area. Wind and rain blew in our current cold front. I wonder that and the two itinerary changes are related.
