My First Ever Dining Review! (Updated with Kringla & Le Cellier 3/5)

Can't wait to hear if you converted your DBF, and About a million years ago I did the CProgram and loved it!!!I hope you love it too!

We spent our first afternoon at the Studios, since it was the park BJ was most looking forward to and it would be EMH that night.

We had a reservation at Hollywood & Vine.

I found it difficult to take pictures of the buffet so I just took pictures of our plates.

First up is Mine

Moving clockwise from the dinner roll is cantaloupe, rice, an orange glazed chicken, green beans, BBQ Pork Loin, Mac and Cheese and in the middle is cornbread pudding. Everything was delicious.

BJ's plate

Moving clockwise from the noodles, which were some sort of asain peanut flavor, he said they were very good, next is pork loin (I think... :confused3 ) then he has the orange glazed chicken and finally some steak, which looked very rare to me but he said it was excellent.

My second Plate:

More Mac and Cheese, BBQ meatballs, chicken Nuggets, the yellow triangle was some sort of bread with peppers in it, it didn't do anything for me, and finally seafood alfredo. I took one bite and thought the seafood taste was too overpowering.

Pictures of the desserts:

Carrot cake, cookies and key lime tarts

on the far left is chocolate coconut bars, in front is chocolate mousse and strawberry shortcake, and in the back was lemon mousse that had blueberries in it. Everything was very yummy.

Great job so far!

I'm glad you enjoyed H&V, it's mostly bad reviews you see on here. :( I've been twice and I thought it was great both times. :thumbsup2

I think I did, :lovestruc the whole time he was like "well next time we should try and do this"
It's nice to hear another good review of Hollywood and Vine. :)
I have always enjoyed it, I think it gets a bad rap because the items on the buffet are a little different, not really bland or plain, and people don't really like that

Wow, great reviews so far :cool1:

They were in the Animation tour buliding. We just sort of stumbled upon them!
Subscribing! DBF and I went last August and loved T-Rex!
We really enjoyed it too, we want to go back next time to get entrees.

Some Cereals

My Plate starting at the Mickey waffles and moving clockwise is french toast, pluto's cheese blintz, and breakfast pizza. The breakfast pizza is one of my favorite foods at Disney, and of course the Mickey waffles!

BJ also had the pizza, some fresh watermelon, cantaloupe, and honeydew, mini pancakes, and cheesy potatoes. I tried some of the potatoes too and I thought they were pretty good.

Overall we thought the Chef Mickey's was one of the best dining experiences on the trip. Even though we are both adults, without any kids with us we had a great time meeting all the characters and getting our picture taken. Also it was sweet to watch the little kids around us faces light up when Minnie Mouse came over to their table. We had a lot of fun here and will definitely be returning on future visits!

Glad to hear a good review of Chef Mickey's! I feel like there have been a lot of negative ones lately.

Count me in! Loving your report so far. I love that you took pictures of the receipts. My husband calls me crazy but I like things like menus and receipts. It eases the anxiety for me, don't have any idea why.

Great report so far! We are trying Chef Mickeys for breakfast for the first time this summer and I am super excited!

hi! congrats on getting into the college program! Sounds fun! Can't wait to hear more reviews and see more yummy pictures!
