After the bird incident and my short nap it was time to get dressed and head out for some character hunting and the show.

I ran into Alice and the White Rabbit just wandering around.

Then Lilo was in the atrium and had no line. Now normally I would not stop for a picture with her but I felt so bad that there was nobody there so I went and got my picture taken.

Silly me I did the wrong hand sign, the photographer told us to do the hang ten and instead I did the rock on/devil horn

After that Mom and I went up and grabbed a seat for the show. Tonight instead of having a musical/broadway style show there was going to be a hypnotist. I had never been to a hypnotist show before and I don't really believe in hypnosis. One of my profs is also a licensed hypnosis therapist and he is always trying to teach us relaxation/hypnosis techniques, they just don't work on me.

The hypnotist had about 12 guests from the audience come up on stage to get "hypnotized". While it was hilarious I am not convinced that the people on stage were truly hypnotized. That is just me though, lots of people onboard believed so this is just the opinion of a skeptic being reported here. It was a good show to see even if you don't believe as it provided lots of laughs. I would have preferred another stage show though.

After the show Mom and I went down to Diversions (one of the clubs on Beat Street) to play "The Feud". If you are familiar with the game show Family Feud you will know how this game worked. We were all divided into two teams, Men v. Women.

The CM managing the computer for the game must have been dozing or having an off day as the host had to keep reminding him when to switch the category/reveal answers.

In the end both teams ended up being tied. Darn!

After the game it was off to dinner at Lumiere's. The newlywed couple was not at dinner with us but they did pop in to say hello and joined us for the dessert course.

I took very few food pictures at dinner, I was too distracted nattering away about our excursions to The Baths and Trunk Bay and showing off our pictures.

Much to my disgust Mom ordered the escargot.

Overall the meal was yummy. I had the salad, a rigatoni dish and chocolate cheesecake for dessert.

After dinner Mom and I had plans to go see a movie in the Buena Vista Theatre. We had 45 minutes until it started so we went shopping while we waited. I took this opportunity to purchase the Disney piano book I had been eying. I have played it a lot since getting home. Erich has even hidden it on me from time to time as he says I play it too much.

Purchase in hand we went down to the theatre. I browsed through my piano book while listening to the Disney tunes they play in the theatre while waiting for the movie to start.

What movie did we see? It was Disney's Earth. It was a beautiful film but I could not sit through all of it. It was very late, I was super tired and it was cold in the theatre. We actually saw lots of people bring in blankets and pillows to watch the movie. So a tip for next time, you can bring your blanket and pillow to the theatre!

We watched all of the movie except for maybe the last 30 minutes before heading back to our room to crash for the night.

OMG, Lessa-what an awesome daughter you are! I am SO jealous that you guys are cruising on the Dream...how exciting is that. And what a creative way to "give" your Mom her gift...so, so cool! I'm so glad that you liked DCL enough to cruise again!!!!

About the hypnotist show--I had the same view of it as you. While we were watching it, I kept thinking that some of the people were actually just acting and going along with whatever he told them to do. Then, after the show, we were in line for one of the characters when we ran into one of the ladies who had been on stage. Someone asked her if it was real, and she said no, so that kind of confirmed it for me!

I do believe in hypnosis. I don't think it can be done in a stage performance like that. Either way I have seen a couple of performance hypnosis shows and they are pretty funny.
