Jennifer & Daniel's PJ-WP/Ariels/SCP-6/14/10- DP &MK Pics,album,HM TR - updated 1/25

Just saw your pic of fuchsia daisies you mentioned in my PJ and those are AWESOME...definitely use those. :thumbsup2 Those are exactly the color of pink I would have changed my wedding colors for, hah! I think if you used just the pink daisies it would look amazing. They can carry a bouquet on their own, that's for sure. I hope they have the same gorgeous Gerber's in yellow for me in June!!! :lovestruc

Congrats on booking the Napa room! I'm not sure about feeding the photog tho...

I love the flowers. I will definitley have them for my bouquet just not sure about the altar pieces. I think it might be too much.

I guess I could ask my planner about Randy's meal.

Today I had to go to the post office to pick up a certified letter sent by DFTW.

I knew what it was when I got the little ticket in my mail box! It was my signed contract and my annual passes!! Yayayay!

So because I changed the wedding colors from black/red/white to black/pink/aquamarine/white I need to buy new wedding shoes.

I wanted a white shoe that I could dye once I decided what color my flowers were going to be. So once I talk to Rosie about my bouquet and we confirm a color I will send them to be dyed. I bought this shoe...

They're so comfy! and really pretty. They look beige in the pic but they are white, a satin white so they shine a bit.

I also am now debating what to do for my honeymoon. We weren't planning on taking one until later in the year because we didn't want to put it on a credit card. Well, my aunt found out that we weren't taking one and decided that we HAD to take one. She gave us $1000 and her stipulation was that we had to use it on a honeymoon. So now we are looking at a cruise, they are all inclusive, we live in Miami so no plane rides, and they are cost effective. So we are looking at a western caribbean cruise to Grand Cayman, Honduras, Belize, and Cozumel. It's a bit over the $1k gift but for $1500 we can have a honeymoon that is 7 days long and includes all meals. That's a deal!

The shoes are really pretty and it's awesome they are comfortable too!

That was so generous of your aunt! The cruise sounds like it will be really fun and is a really good deal too. Sometimes if you don't do it right away, you may not get the chance to later on since things always come up. I'm glad you guys will get to go after the wedding.

cute shoes!! Good idea about dying them after the wedding...I'm currently trying to figure out the shoe situation because I don't wanna spend money on shoes I'm never going to wear again!

Your aunt is so nice! You must be so excited to get a honeymoon now, congrats!!! I think the cruise sounds fantastic, you can't beat only paying $500 for an all inclusive cruise. Go for it!! :thumbsup2

Ive worn them a few times and find that they're comfy. I did order them a half size bigger so they wouldn't squeeze my feet horribly. That style of shoe is notorious for that bc of the platform.

We're excited too. Danny is dying for a nice long vacation.

I love that style of shoe bc they are more comfortable bc of the platform. I'll be dying them pink for the wedding to match my bouquet. So they'll probably be a fuschia color. I'm only waiting bc I want to be sure my flowers are going to be that color. Once I confirm it with Rosie I'll be dying my shoes.

Hi, love those shoes! Would you mind sending me the lunch menus for the California Grill? They arent on Magical Kingdoms anymore for some reason. Could you pm them to me? Thanks and enjoying reading your plans!

I'm a horrible bride, I havent even sent in the planning kit, lol. So no scheduled appt with Rosie. I'm actually filling it out now and hopefully sending it in tomorrow.

The shoes are so pretty, and so perfect! They look like wedding shoes, but not like the boring usual wedding shoes!

That is so great that you will be able to take a honeymoon! I am super jealous! (Partly because of your cruise, and partly because you live in Florida)!!

Exactly! I love the shoes, they look like shoes I would wear normally, and once they're dyed pink I will wear them all the time!

Cruises are so easy for us because the port of Miami is a 20 minute drive from my house, so we don't have to pay to park because my mom will pick us up. Cruising is so economical. $700/person and it includes accomodations, meals and transportation? Awesome!

So I've had my planning packet since November. I know, bad bride :(

I realized that I still had it maybe a week and a half ago. :scared1: I finally sat down with Danny and picked the songs we want to use and his cake preferences.

I had to write a lot of notes for Amy, lol, because Danny doesn't like regular cake fillings, he only eats Red Velvet and cream cheese frosting. I wanted different flowers and here's the kicker...

Danny wants to use the Star Wars theme as his entrance music :confused3:eek: I find it hilarious and kind of scary, lol. I'm hoping Amy will say it's not available.

Haha! I girl can hope, right? lol Our friends will probably die laughing when they hear it. I probably will too.

So since our reception will be over by 3 or 4pm I figured we need a nice dinner reservation and we are staying at the GF so why not V&A's?

I called this morning and made my ADR for the latest seating, 9:15pm. Now I just need to find a pretty dress to wear.

Ugh, I'm frustrated! But it's easily fixed so I won't complain. :confused3:headache:

It's been FIXED! Yay!

So I was emailed by Rosie's assistant to schedule my floral appt. After a few emails back and forth due to attachment issues we finally got pictures sent in of flowers I enjoyed and set a time to call and discuss. Feb. 9th I will be making floral choices.:goodvibes

I finally got my reception contract corrected and mailed in and the deposit has been paid.

Last thing I've been thinking about was adding some appetizers to the meal. The meal already has a salad and soup on it but I think I may want to add a sushi tray (since it is Cali Grill, they have AMAZING sushi) and maybe some flatbreads. The sushi I am seriously considering but the flatbreads may not happen because it's too early in the day for them to be made. The menus all state that they have to be done after 4pm and my meal is at 1pm. I'm hoping that this could be overlooked because I would choose flatbreads over sushi any day.

What do you think?popcorn::

that's awesome you'll be deciding on your floral soon. Does Rosie's assistant make the first contact? I was wondering when I needed to start figuring out floral...

Sushi would be such a fun appetizer!!! I think if your guests would enjoy it and it's not too expensive to add it on, it would be a nice addition if it goes with the rest of your menu. I'm a huge fan of sushi - I will have to try it at Cali Grill since the DF and I have that on our ADR for the disneymoon. I'm not too sure about the flat bread but I don't know what it really is I guess. Do they serve it with hummus or a dip? If it's light, that could also work but you probably could just do one or the other.

Ohh that is exciting you have ressies at V&A's!!

Do you know if all of your guests like sushi? I personally do not like it, and I always feel bad when something is offered, or paid for for me, and I won't eat it. I would say if not everyone likes sushi, you should offer flat bread as well. I'm also a huge fan of flat bread!
