Hilton Parc Soleil

The Parc Soleil is a timeshare resort, you have to own or rent from an owner. It's about 5 minutes from Downtown Diisney on Palm Parkway. Here is a discussion about the resort on the Timeshare Users HGVC board: http://www.tugbbs.com/forums/showthread.php?t=98735

There are at least a couple of other ways to stay at Parc Soleil. If you, or someone you know, owns at a timeshare that trades through RCI you can exchange for Parc Soleil through their exchange program, there may be availability to the resort through an RCI Getaway, or you can go through the Hilton hotel reservation system to reserve at Parc Soleil (generally the hotel chains that have timeshare divisions such as Sheraton, Marriott, Hilton, Holiday Inn, etc. offer access to their timeshare locations much like any of their hotel locations). Also, you might find one of those low-cost offers to stay at Parc Soleil for a few days that includes a timeshare presentation requirement (I'm loath to suggest that that's a good expenditure of time while on vacation though), as the resort is the newest Orlando resort in the HGVC system and still active in the sales and building phase.

I think that there are at least five (maybe six) traffic lights/stop signs between Parc Soleil and Downtown Disney, so I'd think that 5 minutes from point to point is probably true if traffic is low and you catch all the lights. Otherwise I'd expect a 10 to 12 minute drive to the DTD parking lot.

I haven't seen the resort since early July. The buildings are high-rises and the resort was in the build phase so it wasn't completed (probably won't be for a while). The landscaping was also incomplete but it looked like the main area near the opened buildings was nice. I've not seen the inside of the villas but HGVC produces a high-end timeshare experience so I suspect that the rooms are really nice.

Actually not so, there are some consolidators that carry this property as well as directly at Hilton.com.

We are also HGVC owners and this property looks nice, we may try it out next summer.

We're renting from an owner next month. I'll be sure to report back on how we like it when we get back. :goodvibes

I just reserved 3 nights - 1 bedroom with kitchen - through Hilton.com so it can be done. :) I also had to take a second look at the price because it was really inexpensive. The resort looks beautiful.

Thank you all for the feedback and I would also love to hear reviews. I did check tripadvisor and it's ranked 12 on the list out of hundreds of hotels in Orlando.

Just curious as to the pricing you got?

Our price for a 1 bedroom for the week is $330. The owner I rented from had some points he needed to use up so thus the great price. :goodvibes

Can anyone tell me where I can find a owner at this resort to rent timeshare from? We stayed at Cypress Pointe, just returned last week. Liked it, but didn't love it. Loved the location though. We actually drove into Parc Soleil and looked around going past coming home from Seaworld one night, and it is a really nice looking place. So any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Thanks, I have saved the link, nothing on there right now, but we are eithier looking for Dec 2010, or March 2011! SO I will look when the time gets closer!

For anyone that has already stayed at Parc Soleil, any recommendations on building/room requests? Is it better to be on a higher floor, and is it better/preferable to be on the pool or fireworks side?

We're heading there on April 22 - can't wait!!! :yay:

Thanks in advance!

We are HGVC owners and stayed at the Parc Soleil in January, it is a very nice resort. I LOVE the fact that thre is a parking garage which is a huge bonus over the parking situation at the other Orlando area HGVC resorts. It was freezing when we were there so we didn't use the pool but it has a very cool water slide and cabanas. It was very quick to get onto Disney property and shopping and restaurants are close by as well. We were on a high floor with Disney view and it was fun to watch the fireworks from our room.

Just returned (last week) from a 9-night stay at Parc Soleil.

We were very impressed. My wife, who is amongst the pickiest people I've ever met when it comes to accommodations, was blown away.

Room (we stayed in a 1-bedroom suite) was large, clean, and beautifully appointed. The pool area was amazing - very large, with a great waterslide.

We would go back in a heartbeat.
