Thanks for posting all the pictures and reviews. We were there last April when the BBB opened, and it looked fabulous... but unfortunately my DD was only 2. As she will be turning 3 soon, I told her that she will get to go to the BBB on our next trip as her birthday present. She is so excited! She loves looking at all the BBB photos and BBB videos on youtube.

She is adorable!

I would love to see others pics too.

For those who are alittle puzzled about why they have all this Cinderella stuff while the main castle is Sleeping Beauty, think of the name of the Boutique! Its the Fairy Godmothers...from Cinderella. So that is why it is all Cindy themed.
I'm betting they will eventually put a Pirate League at DLR too, so the boys can have some fun. It seems to be a really big hit at WDW so far.

the pics of my DD in the red dress in my signature are from her photoshoot after BBB at MK at WDW. We really had a fun time, but I like the DL theming of the room and decorations better than both at WDW.

:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:I'm going to do BBB in a week and a half when I get there. I'm really looking forward to it!!:banana:

Has any women gone there with short hair? Just wondering what they might do hairstyle wise. I don't have enough hair to do a bun. I don't think a princess would look very regal in the "cool dude" look.

I'm definitely getting some sort of tiara, whether it comes with the hairstyle or not.

my husband may kill me but i want to do this for myself.. wonder how big the dresses come.. im pretty short and may be able to squeeze into a dress lol lol... only for picture purposes though not sure if i'd walk around Disneyland like that lol...

I could just fit into an XL Cinderella dress, it was VERY tight around my *ehem* chest area but it did fit. It came to my knees and looked cute. I did end up taking it back though as it was a little bit too tight! :lmao:

The FGiT are VERY good with hair......DD13 has very thick hair, she has some in the back that breaks all the time because it's so thick and heavy, we were worried but they used so much gel that the short pieces (and she has quite a few of them) stayed up all day.......they will just use loads of gel and bobby pins to keep your hair up. :)

Thanks for the response! Glad to hear you had such a positive experience. :thumbsup2

Unfortunately, due to my disease, I started to lose a lot of my hair so it's pretty short (hopefully some day I'll be able to grow it out again!). It's very close to this:

So hopefully they'll be able to do something cute... I need to feel like a princess for the day. princess:

I have no doubt they can do something, they really are amazing. :) I hope you truly feel like a Princess for the day! :)

Well I assume they are just like the ones at WDW. they are not stylist, but braidest, basically. (CA laws maybe different) but they can onbly do 1 of the 3 hairstyles and they aren't allowed to vary from them. I'm nost sure what they can do with hair that short, but all styles require it being pulled back to start in a ponytail and/or braid. They use that pony/braid as part of securing thins in the style. You may want to ask at the desk right away if or what they can do. It may be jsut putting a tiara on top of your head, and for that amount of money you can do that yourself. I jsut want you to be prepared, so you don'e spend alot of money on nothing.

Thanks! That's kind of what I was afraid of... On the other hand, I was reading Bumbershoot's post about the Cool Dude and thinking, with a tiara, that might not be so bad... I can be the punk rock princess! But I will ask them when I get there on Sunday, that way I can cancel before Wednesday if need be. There's absolutely no way they will be able to braid or do a ponytail. Just not possible. I guess we'll find out what they will/won't come up with.

The punk type gelled up style may me cool though too. I hear that gel is really goey and takes quite awhile to dry though. But with a Tiara that could be cool! :hippie:

I'm thinking a good spiky gelled up style done in pink or purple or a combination of the two with pixie dust along with a tiara would be pretty dang cool! :thumbsup2

I think that would be GREAT! Try to not let them use *too* much gel, they really loaded Eamon up, and his hair was drooping after awhile. Or if you have any really good "freezing" gel that could get the hair to stand up, maybe see if they'll use that, then add the color on top of it (which is what they did with E).

Then yeah, throw a tiara on it, awesome! Wish I could be there to see it!

Oh I love that idea, I think you would look super cute with the cool dude spiky look and a tiara!! Very neat!! :) Your hair is shorter then my DD's but stay optimistic, you might be surprised at what they can do. I hope you'll share photos with us. :)

Thanks guys! I will be taking my camera along, so I will try to post pics when I get back. I think it's going to be super cool! :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

Molly, that's a great idea. I'll have to look for a good freezing gel. I'm going to get a trim later today so I'll ask the hairstylist what she recommends. :thumbsup2

The last time I went to WDW I had the gel/pixie dust done at the barbershop on Main Street. Then I went over to Tomorrowland to ride the TTA. As I got on, the CM told me it looked like Tinkerbell sneezed in my hair! :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

I'm really late for answering, but I just wanted to chime in that the ladies at BBB are amazing.

My hair is way shorter than on the picture, so we went in a couple of days before my appointment and asked if they could do anything. Two of the Fairy Godmothers in training had a look and assured me that either Diva or Pop Princess wouldn't be a problem.

I decided on Pop Princess in the end and it looked really fantastic. I was so distracted that I didn't even notice they forgot to give me the jewel thing that comes with the package.
