"...are we at the airport Clark"

"You couldn't hear a dump truck driving through a nitroglycerin plant"

"I don't KNOW Margo"

"Bend over and I"ll show you"

"Do I need to remind you this was your idea?....No, No I'm perfectly aware of that"

"That aint the friggin' Christmas star Gris...."

"That's pretty low Mister. If I had a rubber hose right now...."

"Look around honey, we're at the thresh hold of hell"

"This here's our pride and joy"

Oh man, I could go on and on...

:lmao::lmao:

Our Christmas decorations always go up the first week of December in honor of our DD's birthday on the 6th. Now that she's married, she has already put theirs up. Her in-laws are coming up in a week from NC to celebrate "Christgiving" (Thanksgiving and Christmas) so she wants to have the house decorated. They very rarely come north after September as her DMIL hates winter weather. Now that there's a DGS in the picture, they may actually come back up in December, depending on the weather forecast.
Hey, Dave: DD has a Tinkerbell tree topper and she wants to know if you have one of those?!

Fed: How many days?

Welcome, New Dads! :thumbsup2

A/C is busted, God I really hope this doesn't put a dent in our Xmas / WDW plans....we'll deal with the heat tonight (actually quite comfortable out for S.Fl.), but please, please don't let this drain our vacation fund......

:scared1: Oh no! S FL and no A/C... yuck. Hopefully it is a simple fix like adding freon. Keep us updated.

Unfortunately, it's not a simple fix. Unit, (a package unit on the roof) is frozen over, Low voltage wire was sitting in water, a bunch of parts had to be replaced and service is coming back today to see if there's any damage under the ice.

The original installers did an extremely poor job, our unit never cycled off, our elect. bill has been about $350.00 a month. I've tinted the house, re-sealed all the doors and windows, added more insulation to the attic and swapped out T-Stat for a digital. The unit being on the roof, I don't get an opportunity to get up there too often, and in all honesty, I really don't know what I'm looking for when I do.

The bad part is that since the original installers did such a lousy job, our mfr warranty is void.

So far, $575.00 and still no A/C. Hopefully today everything will get resolved, once the ice has melted. Luckily, we have a portable unit (a necessity after dealing with 3 hurricane's in two years), put that in the kids room & DW and I just dealt with the heat last night...

But, as of right now, trip is still on.....

I would guess that I qualify since I can answer affirmative to almost all of the qualifications listed. Three weeks until my next visit. :yay::woohoo::wizard:

It's supposed to cool off tomorrow I think. I say skip the a/c until AFTER your trip! By then, it will be a "necessity" to fix. Got to keep the "priorities" in order: vacation first :rotfl:

AWESOME! I can't wait to watch it now!

Hey guys. I happened to notice that this was listed as a "featured thread" on the "DIS Newsletter" that was just e-mailed out this morning. I would expect some more traffic and probably some new dads signing up soon. I think we're getting popular!

Luckily, it's been nice the last few days, that's probably why it took so long for us to notice that something was wrong. Trust me, I considered waiting, and though the idea of a 'clothing optional' home for a few weeks was very alluring, I think my wife would probably kill me if I waited until after the trip.

The guy is at the house right now and I should know more soon.

I might have to stand at an intersection with a sign that reads "Need Disney Funds".
