I am trapped in the disney uk site, I have a link to the US site which allows me to book my ADRs, but if I try and link on the special offers or anything else I am thrown back the the uk site- it is driving me mad. Does anyone know how to stay aboard the US site???? :confused3

at the bottom of the site you can choose the language, choose american and i believe you'll view the US site.

even when I click on the us bit at the botton I get put back to the UK - I have no tab at the top left of the page - I used too until yesterday- who stole it?

You need to do both. First click on the bottom and choose US. You are right, it still keeps you on the same UK page, but once you have done this, there is a LITTLE tab on the top left (in white text against the pale blue background!!!) saying Visit US Site. Click on that too.

You have to click the bottom to get the other one to appear at the top! Why are they so afraid of us getting on the US site!?!?!

The US site is significantly better than the UK version

And of course you can make online ADRs

It always defaults to the UK site, I just click the 'Visit US Site' text on the top left of the screen, I don't change any other options

Sorry to jump on this thread but is it now simple to make reservations online?

I booked with virgin for september but have a disney ref number, if I go on the site 90 days out can I book all my ADR's to my dining plan with that reference number or do I need to have booked direct?

As long as the Disney reference number you have is a US one and not a UK one then you will be able to make ADRs online, and the good news is they are now back to 180 days out so you can make them sooner than you thought you could. :goodvibes

I'm not booked into a Disney Resort but I still made all my ADRs on line:)

I tried putting the reference number virgin gave me for Disney onto the restaurants bit of the disney site and it brought up my stay, so if I go on 180 days in advance I can book the reservations just like that?

Seems a bit TOO simple and therefore worrying ha

It really is that simple....as long as the Disney site is working properly on the day. ;) From what I've read the hardest bit is getting the site to recognise your reservation number, and as you seem to have passed that hurdle you should be fine. :thumbsup2

I have been a long time lurker on these boards, I haven't asked a question before as the answers are usually on here somewhere!!
Me, DH, DD 18 and DS 16 have booked with disney uk for August 2010, the WL with free dining!! yahoo!! I have tried to register on the us site to book ADR's - I realise I am a little early but I just wanted to play about - you know how it is!! but it does not like my reference number, is this because I am too early?

Thanks in advance

At a guess I would say you are using your reference number from Disney UK? If you are then that's your problem - the ADR system (I think) only accepts US reservation numbers. If you phone Disney UK they should be able to give you the US reservation number for your booking.

It sounds a bit long-winded but that's the Disney IT department for you. :confused3
