PeepsII-The Hot, Sweaty Asian Strikes Back. Feb 2010. 12/2-Part 2 has begun.

RE. #4---- Neither have I! THANK GOD!

Since you must endure such a travesty, might I suggest practicing the art of banging your head on a wall now? Did you know, not only does it actually relieve stress, you can burn up to 150 Calories an hour doing it? If that does not help, you could add a list of "places to conveniently ditch MIL while making it look like an accident; it could slip nicely into a binder right beside, say, the ADR page? :confused3

Hmmm If I start banging now...maybe I can lose the 10 pounds I wanted to before going in Dec. Got any ideas on good places to ditch MIL??? The wheels start turning...:lmao:

Oh and next trip your goal should definitely be meeting the mouse :lovestruc

Jordan, Great iten. and I'm a little jealous about some of your ADRs. :rolleyes1

Hmmm, we are playing the I Never Game!

Let's see, I have never:

had a Grey Goose Slushie

been on Mission:Space

eaten at Le Cellier

eaten at the castle

There are tons more they are just not coming to me at the moment! :cutie:

I have eaten at Le Celier but the othes are on my "never' never, list!!!:lmao:

Cute dogs !!

You rrevised version looks good !!

Raglan Road ia fav of mine , I LOVE the "It'snotbleeding chowder" and the desserts are sooooooo good !! I have had Ger's pudng andthe Baileys cheesecake both delish am eyeing the Banana one for next time!!!

Here is a vote for BOMA for the meal you are looking to add! :)

I couldn't keep up with your sleep schedule...I need more than 7 hours!

The dog is cute! :)

Quite possibly you could really do it!! I'd wear a padded helmut though. Might hurt otherwise.

Hmmm.. places to ditch MIL. Let's see.....

1) Anywhere along the parade route say around 3:00. I lost my patience and my mind there. :lmao:
2) You could tell you that your were "recruited" at Haunted Mansion.
3) Get her on M:S Orange side; you'll not see her the rest of the trip.

I'd love to see him, I guess, but the thought of character meals jeebs me out kinda. Although, I MAY do one on our trip... all I can say about that for now. ;)

The dog is cute! :)

But not as cute as Muffin!

Are you sure you're going to be able to hit those AM EMHs with ThePreachersWife and myself?? :confused3

hmmmm....I wonder what degree of difficulty getting kicked out of the houses would be....:rolleyes1

With Jordan, I think anything might possible! I've seen pix. of your kids too picking Roy's nose, if I recall...., the degree of difficulty most certainly goes WAYYYY down, I'd think. :lmao:

sundayDISing012.jpg

she kinda has that the lights are on but no one's home look....bless her heart.

I can barely keep track of my own schedule...I have no idea how you keep track of 3!:worship:

It's not too bad between Kim/Allan and Wendy's itineraries because they are basically the same. However, between theirs and mine, it's a bit more complicated as I am not on the DDP, but the QSDP. So dinners are separate and are our evenings, many nights, are separate. So I have to cross reference stuff alot of times.

I think the revised itinerary looks really good. Are you happier with it?

I think any of those options for your ADR to be decided sound really yummy. It would be neat to complete the AKL Trifecta since you are staying there.

:rotfl2:. You should know the answer to that question..;) I am happy with it, but I spent 2-3 hours yesterday trying to see if other combinations of things would work. I'm happy with the first portion of the trip, but the solo part still kinda isn't quite right....:confused3

Oh, Chanel looks like such a cutie! We have never had a small dog -- all of our dogs weigh more than our children. :rotfl:

Your ADRs and itinerary look good -- no matter which ADRs you decide to go with, they all look delicious!

When you hold her you feel like you have to be very careful with her or you'd hurt her. Not used to that!

Still thinking about upgrading to DDP for the other portion of my trip, still not working out intinerary wise though....

LOL!! We've done it again! :lmao: Are you my antimatter? (Is that hyphenated?)

I was quite possibly at WDW with my OWN mother! I am not certain, but perhaps that could have been a quite larger brain fart moment when I decided to include them. As far as I"m concerned, mixing it up with parents of any kind should be forbidden. I hereby invite all of us who've been so dumb to give intervention when needed to whomever embraces this risky inclusionary thinking.

Cynthia, I'm praying for you!!

I knew I was single for a reason.

I'll have you all know that I have done Disney, both in CA and FL twice as an adult with MY own mother (and father and my bazillion siblings/nephews etc) and it has been fabulous!

It is entirely possible....dare I say probable?

that both MY mother and my MIL will be present on this trip....

My dad is ready to go again. HP is putting him over the edge, my mom too.

I just have to figure out how to have them there without Sandie feeling like my clan is taking over her trip. However if it is just my parents and not the whole clan, it could be a good MIL distraction tactic if needed!

I am blessed to be surrounded by Disney freaks.

I am sure it will be discussed at Ocktoberfest tonight!

Chapter 36. Adventures in dogsitting

So for the last week, we've had the "privilege" of dogsitting for a friend of Leo's. Now don't get me wrong I love dogs, but Chihuahua's....do they really qualify as a dog? It's more like a large rodent. I didn't hate having the dog around and honestly Buddy loved having someone closer to his age. They really had a lot of fun together and the dog was VERY affectionate.

Her name Chanel...with a crown studded collar...need I say more:

Yo quiero Taco Bell

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Jordan's ADRs
2/10-Prime Time
2/13-Teppan Edo
2/15-Jiko
2/16-Kouzzina
2/17-Lunch-Sanaa

2/17-Dinner-I am toying with one more TS and paying OOP for this as Jiko is 2TS.........It's a free night for me so I could really eat anywhere......

Here's my short list:
Boma (completing the AKL/V Trifecta)
Rose and Crown
Le Cellier
Chefs de France
Flying Fish
Raglan Road
Kona Cafe

Not sure if this is a done deal. I have a week to think about it....

The old version while having me be able to sleep in on Tuesday had me going to Epcot on an EMH during President's Week. Probably a mistake. It is probably smarter to Epcot the next day. It's also probably smarter to do DHS on Tuesday morning, the day after the DHS Evening EMH.....

Good thinking on the switch. Last year, Presidents Week, MK was horrid every day, as was DHS. Epcot and AK not so bad....

It did not seem to be terribly EMH related but then again I could have just been in a daze. Either way, definitely hit DHS in the am.

Or come back after EMH starts at night! The EMH crowds at night, once it started, were not bad anywhere (comparatively)

Hmmn. I vote for....

Boma. It's just so pretty down there! And the soups...oh the soups!

Although all of your choices are good.

Glad to see that Sanaa has made the cut.....so far.

Another vote for Boma.

Sanaa was off, but I put it back on last night. It fits right now.

Jordan, Great iten. and I'm a little jealous about some of your ADRs. :rolleyes1

I'm ready to go and eat right now.

I really do want to leave that last night open for rest or whatever I feel like doing.

I've heard such good things about RR......if I end up at DTD that last night it's on my list....

The dog is cute! :)

I slept until 10am this morning which means I got up 45 minutes ago! I need my sleep too, but most nights get by with 6-7 hours.

Boma is getting alot of votes...:thumbsup2

hmmmm....I wonder what degree of difficulty getting kicked out of the houses would be....:rolleyes1

Not too difficult if we went screaming through it...;)

You are so, so blessed!!! I would love a family as enamoured and in love with all things Disney too, and who just get it; alas, I can only still hope! I am however, faithfully indoctrinating my own children with the virtues of being Disney freaks. Hopefully, I will NOT be my mother on any future trips with my grandkids!! ;)

To Whom are you speaking....:)

I am sure it will be discussed at Ocktoberfest tonight!

Oh..did I know you were there at that time last year?

Thanks for the great info!

Jordan, I am blown away that you have SO much planned out and organized... down to dates, times, locations, attractions. WOW!

I am leaving in 42 days, I have NO CLUE what we are doing! I did ADR's for two TS, including a Candlelight Processional package. Other than that... clueless!

I bow down to your ability to plan ahead and be organized!:worship:

Doggies were WAY cute!

Adults only trip are made for relaxing!

Red Dixie Cups.

As the eldest daughter I'm hoping that I get the Mickey Pint Glass but we will see! All depends on my arrival time, if my brother beats me to it and if both he and my dad are wearing liederhosen....

And if someone brought a double IPA.

:rotfl:

Probably not! Feel free to take a gander at my TR (How EMH saved our Trip) in my siggie to get a feel for the crowds!

We got our love of Disney from Jim's uncle and our boys and DILs have it too, so it's being passed down to our grandchildren. I'm really worried about being "the MIL" too, after reading all those stories. I'm younger than most of "those MILS", but I can tell we're already getting on our kids' nerves. I guess when we pay for the rooms on our big "together" trip in 2012, they'll probably give us a little grace! :goodvibes

Tammie,

I think they key is to realize up front that it is ok if everyone isn't together, all the time. That sometimes the individual families might have their own needs and agenda's. And that everyone needs breathing space at times.

It took my mom until the 2nd trip to figure that out (and a heart to heart from myself and my sisters with her before the trip) but she "get's" it now and is a joy to travel with. She is an uber uber planner but has learned it's ok for her to plan as much as she wants, share with everyone, and they will follow along...or not...and both are ok.
