if you have a AAA card can you get discounts in all the WDW shops? by the way i MUST have that purse!!

no, its not the AAA card, you have to have the diamond card to get the discount which you only receive when purchasing your vacation package through AAA. and no, the discount is not good in all WDW shops .. only world of disney at dtd.

Wow! That's outrageous to ship! I was just going to order one, but will not pay that shipping charge. We'll be there the second week in December. Anyone have any information on the purse--is it limited edition? What are the chances of it being available then? Bummer!

I ordered it yesterday. Doing Christmas shopping for my DH. My fuzzy disney math said $30 was good since I am doing carry on only for my next trip and would have to pay that much since I wouldn't have room for it.

I purchased the smaller tassle purse ($150) Friday at The World of Disney in Downtown Disney. I was told they had just got them in that morning. They had sold 3 of the larger totes before I bought mine and I was the 1st to purchase the smaller tassle version. I chose this style because it has a shoulder strap. I absolutely love it. I'm pleased with the size and I am able to get everything I need in it.

I got my passholder discount - 10% and used my birthday gift card. My husband said that it was nice of Disney to give me a "Dooney" for my birthday!

The sales clerk said that it was exclusive to Walt Disney World and Disneyland and that it would not be sold in any of the Dooney stores, outlets, etc.

The boutique type store "Trends" in Downtown Disney also had them. This store is located next to the toy store and across from the Pin Station in Downtown Disney.

Today is my 1st day back to work after vacation. My co-workers say they look forward to seeing my new Disney purse when I return from Disney and that this one definitely wins the prize!

Shipping costs are based on purchase price, not the weight of the item. For the wristlet alone the shipping is $9.95...not too bad, right?

I ordered some other stuff, as well (t-shirt and DVDs), so the shipping for my 3 items was $24.95.

Still cheaper than R/T airfare from NY to MCO, LOL.

I've had this type of D&B handbag before: the body is polyvinyl-coated cotton (water-resistant and easy to clean and maintain) and the trim is leather, which will darken to a saddle-like color over time, as a result to exposure to light and the natural oils in your hands.

Looks like three locations (so far) are carrying them - World of Disney, Tren-D and the boutique in the Grand Floridian - so hopefully that improves the odds of you finding what you want.

My next trip isn't until next September, so waiting until my return to WDW wasn't an option.

Ooooh, the Neverfull is on my list - I love my Petit Noe and Alma, but I have my eye on the Neverfull! I have a question, the straps look thin to me, are they really as strong as they say they are? I'm thinking I'll have to grab the D&B Disney bag too, just don't tell my DH!

Just ran to Disney to pick up my bags! The World of Disney and Trendy both still have the large bag and the medium tote left. I decided to buy the larger bag...I like more room. I asked about the wristlets but they were sold out. They said they sold out of those very quickly. However, we had them call over to the Grand Floridian and they still had wristlets left (probably about ten or so). So we ran over there and grabbed two (one for me and one for a gift...so cute )
