Hey CR Resort Fan, I just thought of an issue.
1.We are flying to WDW landing at 2:00.
2.We are using the Magical Express.
3.We can not take our pins on the plane in our carry on so they will be in our luggage which will not be delivered to our room right away.
So going to the pin trading is probably not in the cards.
I'm kinda bummed.

one thing you could do is pack them, then not put the magical express tag on that bag. Then you could run over get the bag, take out the pins, and then run the bag over to magical express.

I would be happy to do this for the first 4 days but then I will be down there with you!
Can someone be willing to do the whole vacation or from the 15-21?

Hey all! We're packing right now for our trip at the BLT next week! We check in a week from today, but we're leaving Tuesday night for a bit of a pre-vacation stay (and we're driving, so we won't actually be in Disney until Thursday).

I get such great information from these boards (and this thread was invaluable to me when I was planning my stay at the Contemporary last year) and while I usually only write cruise reviews, I'm going to write a long pictorial review of our stay on my blog when we get back. We have a 1-BR Bay Lake View villa booked, but I'd be happy to try to take pictures or seek answers to any questions anyone here has

So if anyone wants a picture of anything or has a question about BLT, let me know and I'll try to take it or find an answer

Yes the alarm clocks do have hat feature.

well, today was the last big milestone for my upcoming trip...paid in full! I may not have mentioned here before, but we added on a day at the beginning, so have a 9-night, 10 day stay now in the MK view. Can't wait to make it back down

Isn't it great knowing when your reservation is fully paid and congrats on adding a day to it.

So excited! I just got an email from Disney showing my reservation w/the new 2010 rate change. Can't wait to arrive at CR! Now just watching for a discount code!
The pics of the splash area look cool! We will be there in Feb, so I hope it will be warmer at least one day to use it.

Just got my Disney email also, called and changed my sister's reservation to upgrade her to CL level so that my sister and niece and nephew will be on the same level as myself and my husband.

I am guessing the pictures are not doing it justice. I just don't get it by looking at these pictures. So, I will figure it all out in 4 days. YIKES, I only have 4 days to pack ! ! ! ! (2 actually - double YIKES )

I said this before and I will say it again, I don't think Bay Lake Tower will have much as of an impact as you might think. Since it's been gone for a long time let's not forget when they had the North Garden Wing they had more total rooms then what Bay Lake Tower is getting. Plus on my families recent stays without the North Garden Wing building there were a few times at night when we had to wait for another Monorail to arrive, because of the line. Now besides having Contemporary guests in line I am willing to be there was guests for the Polynesian, Grand Floridian, those getting to the Magic Kingdom to get on a WDW Resort bus and offsite guests going to the TTC.

Good point about the north garden wing. ANd you are correct about the monorail - we did walk back to CR from Mk one night on our last trip just to browse the 4th fl concourse area, then hopped the monorail over to GF. The lines were really long and the monorail crowded that evening... I am just used to seeing very small monorail lines to and from CR during my past few trips. We normally go off season though, and if we are staying late in MK, we just walk back, it's become a tradition for us.

Oh yay we'll have some pics soon! I'm sharing a 2BR BLT villa in November with 5 friends - we have 3 baths in the unit, but we are all curious to see what toiletries are provided, and how many. Also hair dryers - is there 1 per unit - or 1 per bathroom? Have a great trip!

What are extras on atrium club level?

Just came back.

Awesome 2 weeks at the CR.

The staff was very friendly and helped us a lot.

The view was great. We had room 4226. We were on top of Chef Mickey and it did not bother us at all.

All that bothered us is that during the second week there was a convention, and these people took a lot of room. And the elevators were VERY slow because of them.
