Love all the Animal Kingdom pics, especially the carvings on the Tree. I don't think I've seen such close up ones before! Liam was so cute with the goats!!

Thanks so much for that tidbit about Luxo Jr. I am definitely going to have to look for him in September.

It seems to me like this Animal Kingdom day was a really good one for Liam. Am I right? It just seems like it's been one of the nicest days for you all. And every time I see photos of the Tree of Life, I am always amazed at the incredible amount of thought and detail that was put into it. I'm going to have to find that trail you mentioned.

I love those Discovery Island Trails! We wandered around on them in November and got so many beautiful pictures. We didn't get the detail on the Tree of Life that you did though-wonderful pictures! That is such an amazing piece of artwork.

I just had to update an earlier part of my TR. I just read on allearsnet that Luxo Jr. is now appearing! This is so cool....I can't wait to see it this October!

The Audio-Animatronics version of Luxo Jr. recently debuted across from the Toy Story Midway Mania! attraction, popping up unexpectedly in a second-story window in the Lighting Company building. During the day, you may catch Luxo Jr. dancing to the beat of country, disco and Disney tunes. At night, he "conducts" the colored lights in the trees of Pixar Place. Appearance times aren't advertised, but as weather permits, Luxo Jr. hops from behind a shuttered window every 15 minutes.

that half panda half ant eater thing is going to give me nightmares!

it's good that someone enjoys the bats. I've always thought they were creepy and now Hunter won't go near them in a zoo either...A couple of months ago we went to the portland zoo and stoped look at the bat cave...there should have been some sort of warning because mating season was in full swing!!! The sight of 100 mating bats is scarred into my brain. As soon as Hunter figured out what was going on he nearly died.

I had never noticed the lack of underwear on bats untill that trip. there was one flaunting all he had and it looked like he was the proud owner of 2 large purple grapes. My sister took a picture of it because she couldn't believe it...i'd post it but I don't want to get banned for bat porn.

He sat with me and didn't mind the ride that much. I think in part because in was outside and not dark. And the fact the he was so little he really couldn't see much but the inside of our little dino-mobile.

After our ride we (or maybe it was just me) played some games. Here's Liam with my winning prize. I love Love LOVE the game where you roll the ball up the ramp and into the little holes. I have to play that game everywhere that I find one. Anyone that is in Dino-land on October 2, 2009....I challange you to a match!

What ever happend to the DISer who had 2 Goldens and one of the dogs died on the way to Disney? Last I remember she was writing a mini TR about Vegas.

And what happend to the young Mom DISer that was doing the great 'She said, He said' report? Last I remember on that one, "He" had left "She" and the kids. Reminds me of that D-bag Jon Gosselin.

And then there was that fun girl JiminySomethingorother....but that was ages ago....that was a Hoot of a PTR.

Plus there are a few LapuLapuettes that are MIA....the writer with the dead bird. And the gamer who is getting married any day now.

Are they still here on the DIS can are just in different threads than me?

Jiri was the one with the dead bird. Willwriteforears. I think. I emailed her back in January...she was doing well. Very busy with her writing.

Princesskeyblade, the one getting married this fall. I haven't seen her at all. I wonder what happened with her.

My DH found a video feed on some site that shows him coming out and doing his thing....It is beyond COOL!
