Angelina has been sending out resumes & nothing is really happening! She has been busy helping out with the wedding preparations & the one PR job she picked up. She and Josh have also decided to go into business for themselves. They are close to closing a deal on purchasing an Anytime Fitness franchise! She is still activily looking for something, but no longer seems upset that it's not happening. Thank you for being concerned about her!

Keeping her in my prayers.

I think Marisa and I will go shopping to change some shorts I bought and two dresses that I know I am not going to wear.

Her name is Paige and she is a lot of fun. I hope everyone doesn't mind if I bring her, but she missed out on the last visit to Cali Grill and I promised her a do-over.

Sheryl -- Good luck to Josh and Angelina on their new business venture! They must be so excited. I'm sure Alexis will have a great time at day camp. She has such an outgoing personality. She will probably have lots of fun stories to share with you to cheer you up while you recover.

Vickie -- I hope your boy is feeling better.

Maria -- Keep resting. That is a nasty bug you are dealing with, but I am glad to hear you are on the mend.

Ann -- I'm sure Emma is just gorgeous.

Lauren -- I hope you had fun picking out pictures today. I always used to buy too many.

Aimee -- You must be so happy camp is done!

We enjoyed the sun here too. We visited a local nature preserve (Greg has lived here his whole life and it was his first visit) and then went for lunch and some time on the beach. It wasn't swimming weather, but we did put our feet in and the kids had fun splashing around a little. I'm still full from my clam roll, so if anyone wants dinner, they are on their own.

I probably won't check in again until Sunday night. Tomorrow morning Liam has a baseball game, and then we are heading to Becky's for dinner and a sleepover. I bought lots of yummy fish today...wild salmon, tuna, swordfish and sea scallops, so we'll have seafood mixed grill one day and the salmon the other.

Oh my, it's hot as HELL here!! 102 right now, at 5pm, earlier it was 106-108, depending upon the part of town. How hot is it in y'alls areas?

Day Camp is DONE but we have the family night at 7pm tonight. My honey was home when I got in this afternoon, he had a good week but we're both pathetic and exhausted. We're going to have Chili's for dinner and then head to the church for the family night show. We ran through it today and it should go well

Hi all! Sorry I didn't have time to check in yesterday. Before the library we took the kids to a middle eastern restaurant.

Alex is becoming the bottom less pit. He had his highschool physical today My baby is 5'10" 172 lbs he is just 14. Last night he ate a shish kabob sandwich and half of my combo platter.

Tonight is chinese takeout.

I don't know what Greg does when you are not feeding him.....between you and Becky his menu once he is gone must be Chris told me that the mess where he is stationed in Quantico is nasty, it must be. He told me his Mom's cooking is good and Buddy greets her with "Hi Costco!"

And you need to stay on house arrest.....left to your own devices you are out doing yard work, running errands...anything but resting. I imagine Greg will lock you in if you are caught out and working

Nancy, Alexis will be going to day camp because of my surgery next week. I'm going to be worried sick about her!

Oh, poor Nana! Kady went for a few hours a day but I would have hated a whole day. No wonder you are sad. I know it is hard to hear Nana, but she is going to love it! I know it is not Camp Nanawonka though

I have not seen much of my Princess this past two weeks, Marisa has been home so she has been home a lot too She was here yesterday though and it was raw and clammy out so when Nola went down for a nap we cuddled up on the couch under a blanket and watched Mulan together. The day before we watche Hanna Montana something. I missed watching TV with her, usually she and I would go watch a movie until it was time for her to go to bed.

I also have tickets to a concert tomorrow night. It is the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra playing along with Bugs Bunny cartoons, I think.

She has a very bad habit of making and buying things for us to "try" which translates into she'll eat little to none of it and expects me to eat the rest.

I am jealous! I would love that concert!

I have my marching orders from my Mom as well "don't think about doing anything this weekend" were her exact words.
At this point I don't feel well enough to consider doing anything but I have heard the garden calling my name, it will have to wait until next week.

But you have more people who can eat it, it's just me. And lots of times it's something fattening, it would be nice if it was something low-fat and good for me.

Dinner tonight ended up being Trader Joe's Chicken Shu Mai and potstickers. I came home to a stove full of pots that were full of beets. I had decided to play around a little and make the shrimp with some onions, zucchini, curry paste and coconut milk and serve with rice but didn't have anywhere to cook it.

And I got cherry jam made too!

There is nothing worse than a man who thinks he is calm and reasonable when in fact he is anything but We'll see what a few hour chugging on a tractor in the coolish (it is not hot here) sun will do for his temperament. I am going to iron and pretend I am creasing more than slacks and shirts

Hey ladies! Sorry I've been away for a couple days. With SIL here and work and the kids, we've been busy, busy, busy. Thursday I ended up with an awful headache, that put me out of comission. I don't know how people with migraines do it. I was miserable! But Friday was better. We finally had the Lemon Fusili with arugula last night. Not sure about WFD tonight--probably will go out.

Sheryl--alexis will love day camp. Emma and Matthew were there all week this week and had a blast. They didn't want to leave. Wish they had another one to go to this week. Good luck with the surgery and the recovery!

Vickie--hope your little man is feeling better!

Nan--Hoping either Buddy decides to stay home or gets out of his little mood.

That company from the hospital came to the house last week to take his pic and now I have to choose what I want. I am probably going to want them all but I think they are expensive.

We got family pic's done 2 years ago and I had to let Colin go look at them coz I just knew I'd but them all...

She and Josh have also decided to go into business for themselves. They are close to closing a deal on purchasing an Anytime Fitness franchise!

Whispering Canyon- never been before and I think the boy will love it.
Its also at Wilderness Lodge so I can pretend for a wee while !!

Mickey Back Yard BBQ- we have done this every time we have been to WDW.I wasnt sure the boy would want to go this year ( too old ) but he said "Are you havin a laugh,If chip n Dale are there then so am I "....I was so chuffed because I love it !!

Ohana's Best friend Breakfast - we have did this before and after Chef Mickeys last year we are headin back.Its just so much better.

50's Prime Time cafe- This place just makes the boy laugh and laugh... so back again !!

T-Rex cafe new to us and dont know any one who's been but the boy thinks it looks GREAT so we'll give it a go.

Cinderellas Royal Table - This is mummys choice.
The boys not much pleased about this but I have a big birthday in October (shhhh) that I am refusing to celebrate at home so Colin wanted this booked as a special for me.

Oh yeh...and there's a little get together at Cali Grill with some very fine lassies ( and some very fine DH's too )
