So the next morning started with a bang! The alarm went off and we all sprang into action! It was so funny, we were headed to Epcot and Bryan said to the boys, "are you ready for some Test Track?" Eric replies " I big, I'm buff, I'm tough and I'm 7" we all DIED laughing at that one! Once we were dressed, we headed up to the Artist palette. It wasn't a far walk at all! The breakfast options at AP were pretty decent but we really were disappointed overall with their selections, especially for the kids! Breakfast done we headed to Epcot...it was already SO HOT! All the news stations were saying that this was record breaking heat indexes for that time of year! Once the park opened, Bryan headed to FP Soarin and met us at Test Track!
This was GREAT! We got our photopass picture afterwards! I wish all the photo rides did this!
We then took the obligatory car photo!
Afterwards we headed over to Mission Space! GREEN TEAM ONLY!
Eric taking his job VERY seriously!
Matthew, not so much!
The liftoff!
Gotta love Space Mickey!
After that ride, we went on AGAIN!!!
The wait was minimal!
After our 2nd journey to Mars, we went over to use our Soarin fastpasses and FP'D Test Track along the way!
Once at Soarin, we asked for the front row and we were so excited that we got it!
After we soared over California, we decide to ride Figment! The kids were less than thrilled but we LOVE to torture them so off to visit our little purple friend we went!
Bryan LOVING putting the kids through it!
More torture! Doesn't Eric look thrilled!
If nothing else, Figment was a GREAT way to cool off!
After Figment we made our way to Club Cool! You have to love free refreshments in the heat!
We all thought that Matthew had previously tried Beverly but we were wrong, and so the torture continues!
After we chased away our thirst, it was time to hit the World Showcase to make it to our lunch at Rose and Crown. This was a first for us!
Don't you just love the new park decorations? So cute!
We got there about 15 minutes before they opened, so we stopped in the shops!
Payback for the earlier torture! HA!
I never realized that you could be seated outside so when I checked in the hostess told me that sitting inside was a request NOT a guarentee, OK WHAT, in this heat! So of course I requested to be inside but I had a TOTAL panic attack that we might not get it!
Fortunately we were seated inside! YEAH!
Bryan had the meat and cheese plate for an appetizer, he said it was delicious.....
I had the apple and stilton salad(which is like bleu cheese) it was GREAT!
For our meals, Bryan had the bangers and mash, without the mash(diabetes) and veggies instead! Pathetic looking isn't it? He liked it though!
I had the trusty burger, which was terrific!
The kids both had pizza and french fries! For some reason, they rated these fries "the best on property"...goofy kids!
For dessert Bryan had the no sugar added fruit trifle which he raved about...
I had the special celebration cheesecake, it was good!
After lunch, it was time to head out, we had some shopping to do and some money to spend!
coming up next, not your typical park exit!
