We were at DHS too!! And at Sci-Fi the SAME time...our ressie was at 11:10!!

Wow, you are the TR diva, already posting so much Sounds like a wonderful day. It's so nice to know you have a longer stay and don't have to rush it. I was in MK for one afternoon Sun, June 28. It wasn't as hot as I feared that day, but it was 3:00 before we got there. We were able to do much more than I expected, too. Between 3:00 and 11:00. : )

Our kids love Sci Fi too. It has a great atmosphere and the food is good too Your dessert looked wonderful.

Were you impressed with Mama Melrose? Tammy (tmkinney) and I are trying to plan a Dec. trip, just us and the kids leaving the hubbies at home. We were considering trying that next time. Looking forward to your reviews to help plan the dining.

Way to go getting all your requests at Saratoga! I was worried about the bus system when we stayed there last Dec, but we never had any problems.

So glad you didn't have a "protein spill" at dinner! YIKES! My worst nightmare. I just don't do kid puke well, who does really I guess but it really grosses me out!

Great update! We enjoyed reading this last night right before we got onto the airplane! Can't believe this happened to Eric right before we met you that evening, good Lord!!! He was in great spirits when we saw you so that is good, can't believe we missed Brian by two seconds- oh well, more chances, later, right.
Hope all is well with you guys. We arrived safely last night, Luke and I had the WORST ear popping, I'm still recovering from that (even with those earplane things), oh well.

Also for good bus service so far, we had horrible bus service our entire trip. Sci Fi Looks great, I love that dessert that you got! So nice of you to give your FP's to your Dis Friends Tim & Lesley . Sorry Eric wasn't feeling good but so glad he was okay. Overall a great first day!!

Thanks Kelly! It was scary with Eric, I was glad I got to calm him down quickly though! It was SO HOT that day! ALL of the chef's were AMAZING with Bryan on this trip!

Thanks so much! I was on cloud nine when the check in went so smoothly! Mama Melrose is OK, obviously we didn't have a great experience, but it had nothing to do with the food. It seems to be very kid friendly and the food(what I ate ) was pretty good! We LOVED Sci Fi!

Thanks so much! Developer points were "bonus" points that we were given as an incentive when we bought into DVC. The amount you received were equal to the amount of points you bought and they could only be used at SSR! We were in a studio!

How did you like SSR vs BWV? We've stayed at BWV & got boardwalk view back in December and think we might want to do a split-stay next trip in May 2010. Only my boys want to stay at AKL and BWV and my daughter wants to stay "only at the Boardwalk, mother!" I think it would be fun to try a couple resorts if you are there over 7 days.

You are all having a great time - loved the pic of the boys with all that room in the sofa bed - very cute

We had a similar incident 2 years ago at LeCellier. We quickly needed to finish dessert as DS then 11 y.o. was not feeling well. So, I took him back to the YC (we actually had a room with partial view of Illuminations), but DH and older son went back to MK where we had spent the day and had collected 5 sets of fast passes. DH and older DS had a great time at MK with all of those fast passes!! I really felt bad for my younger DS as LeCellier is his favorite, esp. the Moose.

Sorry for being so long winded, just glad your story turned out much better!! Looking forward to reading more!!

Thanks! I think 10 days is a great legnth trip, plenty of time to rest and play! After packing up and moving resorts this trip, I don't know how people do it, I thought it was a HUGE pain!

That is awful about your DS! I hate it when kids feel bad at Disney! I am glad your DH and other DS tried to make the most of it though!
