They filed for divorce today.
Yeah, I wondered this too, but DH has a friend that he works with that lives in Maryland and he said that some states (Maryland) requires that you're seperated for a year before the state will grant a divorce; maybe that's what's going on. I personally thnk they're just calling it a speratin for ratings.
He learned that from his daddy.
So sad. Wonder how long those living arrangements will last? He and she coming and going?
Jon is excited about breaking up his family and breaking his kids hearts forever! That makes me soooooo sick! He should be sad and upset that he and Kate FAILED them!
Well, they just showed a screen stating that they filed for divorce today.
I can't believe she said that they still doing this for the kids....to document their lives, etc. Yes Kate, I'm sure they will be so thankful that you have all of this madness documented for them to enjoy when they are adults. Nice job. Good decision.
They just posted it at the end of the show stating that divorce proceedings were filed.
Now TLC just flashed the announcement that J&K have filed for dissolution of their marriage...

No, I was divorced in PA. It's only 90 days. You both sign...come back in 90 days sign again & it's official.
(Assuming it's mutual & nobody drags it out fighting over stuff)
People keep saying it's so sad, there are hopes they can work things out and get back together... I think it's good they're divorcing. They are dysfunctional as a couple and their kids are seeing that every day. If they can be happy apart, that is a much healthier thing for their kids to see.
As the child of divorced parents, I look back and am so very glad and grateful my parents split up.
