Well, they just showed a screen stating that they filed for divorce today. I'm depressed.

No, I was divorced in PA. It's only 90 days. You both sign...come back in 90 days sign again & it's official.
(Assuming it's mutual & nobody drags it out fighting over stuff)

Jon is excited about breaking up his family and breaking his kids hearts forever! That makes me soooooo sick! He should be sad and upset that he and Kate FAILED them!

So sad. Wonder how long those living arrangements will last? He and she coming and going?

I am sick and disgusted by what TLC just did.

Are they seriously going to continue filming while these poor children have to go through the agony of their parents' divorce??? :scared1:

    I'm done with the show!:mad::sad2:

I can't believe she said that they are still doing this "for the kids"....to document their lives, etc. Yes Kate, I'm sure they will be so thankful that you have all of this madness documented for them to enjoy when they are adults. Nice job. Good decision. :thumbsup2

I hate to say it but I think it will only be a matter of time before she moves them to LA. She is too fame hungry to fade into the woodwork.

People keep saying it's so sad, there are hopes they can work things out and get back together... I think it's good they're divorcing. They are dysfunctional as a couple and their kids are seeing that every day. If they can be happy apart, that is a much healthier thing for their kids to see.

As the child of divorced parents, I look back and am so very glad and grateful my parents split up.

It's called a contract. I'm sure they BOTH signed one. Not like they can just opt out and call off the show.

The cameras are not there 24/7. Most of their lives are their own. That is, until Jon stepped out on Kate. Then all hell broke loose.

I'm not even sure I can come up with anything to say. Nothing that is remotely kind, anyway. What a pair those two are. Good Lord.

Are you serious?? They taped this for their children to see? And they - along with TLC - used this "opportunity" to draw in massive viewers tonight?

Absolutely disgusting! Everyone should be ashamed of themselves..

And I assume this ridiculous show will go on??

I really can't take her. She does not have those kids interests at heart. I would think that she would be devastated and the last thing on her mind would be filming. Silly me. I thought that just maybe for once she would put her children first. What was I thinking?:surfweb:

BTW- Am I the only one here who thinks she really does have something going on with the bodyguard?

I'm pretty sure these two aren't going to wrap up a divorce in 90 days...if they are filing, the fun is just beginning. There will be fights about money, assets, houses, kids - you name it, they'll fight about it and it will all be played out on television. Lovely.

Does anyone else think it is sad that the big girls have to dress just like the little girls? Let them have their own identity please!!

And bibs on the 5 year old - shouldn't they be past that by now?
