I just thought of a tip I found whilst on the Podcast cruise, so if anyone else has any feel free to add it

This is only applicable to the Podcast cruise, but I found the best place to spot the Podcast crew was in Cove Cafe - we saw most of them in there at one point or other

Another for Cove Cafe - they have a card where if you buy 5 drinks you get # 6 for free Remember to get a signature on your card, we used up 2 cards.

Me too (and Gav ) there was lots we didn't get to do and we went to places but didn't see anyone we knew so didn't hang around I don't know how we'd cope being on a cruise without other Podcast cruisers

We did run into Becx and Gav in the Cove Cafe.

They have a KILLER Pear tea.

And snacks.....and we love our snacks.

I thought of another tip (thanks to someone else - afraid I can't remember who ) when the bus got to the port the bags were unloaded all together then we were able to get off. We didn't have to take our bags anywhere as there were porters waiting - we gave our tip to one of them who was directing things, so make sure you have some ones/fives for this

I know I have mentioned this a few times already on other threads, but...

If you drink beer, buy the mug!

It's about the size of a stein and gives you more beer than a standard glass whenever you order a beer on tap. The glass is filled for free when you first collect it (well mine was anyway!)

Hmm, we ran into Bex and Gav in Cove Cafe too! They have killer iced mocha lattes...

And I know we tip our room stewards the last night but...... we gave ours, Darrell a $5 when we first saw him and asked him to keep the ice bucket full. There wasn't once that we didn't have a full ice bucket.... and he kept filling our wine bucket too!

I'll add a tip that has nothing to do with the podcast crew or the Cove Cafe - although I did find the Cove Cafe on Sea Day when James went down there to do homework (HATE his homework).

At the advice of people on these boards, we took a hair dryer. I never used it. It took up valuable space in my suitcase, though. There is quite the outdated hair dryer in the staterooms. And, while it's not a power machine, it got the job done. I have short hair, so it wasn't like I was drying a lot of hair. But, it wasn't a horrible hair dryer like I had imagined.
