I am lost...........
I'm thinking that Heather had a flood? And is getting new carpet?
Is someone making a digital scrapook perchance?
A new T-shirt design?
What else is going on?
Oh Billy Hill fans........................Does Kirk usually perform on the weekends? I want to take my Mom and Sisters to see the Billy Hillbillies, and want to make sure that he is the one performing that day.
Thanks!
Thanks for the info Theresa!I think Kerry is making a digital scrapbook. I think some other people said they were going to work on t-shirt designs, but I have not seen anything yet.........
Same to you Miss Sarah!Good Morning! Happy Tuesday!
Well that was a nice quick reply! Thanks! I'm trying to make some kind of an itinerary for our upcoming trip. We will have 4 days, but with my Mom being 85 and all, it would be nice to know what days for inside shows, parades and all. I don't want to have to go back and forth alot. Same with my Sister with the cancer. Not sure how she will do. Normally she is like me...........a real commando type and go go go............and loves all the rides. I'm anxious to see her, and see how she is doing. All of her hair is gone, so she will be donning hats and scarfs. She hates her wig. Says it itches like heck!Hi Melody!
Kirk performs every day they have a show now which is Thurs-Mon. So, yep, you should see Kirk on a weekend, unless he's got a scheduled vacation.
Morning ladies!!
Heather, sorry about the hassles you are still dealing with. But I'm glad you're getting new carpet and a new dryer.
Kelly, you sound like you will be busier than ever!!
Molly, where you at girl? You're being nominated left and right here!
What else? Oh yeah. Creepy dancing baby, but Ally McBeal rocked!
Courtney, you're not missing anything important on FB. Just Diva silliness. lol
I can't remember what else I wanted to say. Should've multi-quoted. Oh well. Hope you are all having a good morning so far!

Did I mention that we will also be going to Club 33 on this trip? Yep!
Oh, my older kids are home from school today. Not a planned absence either. The dumb school bus never showed up this morning. Usually the bus picks them up about three blocks away at 7:20. They get there around 7:16 to make sure they don't miss it. Well, at 8:16, one hour later, still no bus!
We called the school and they were like "We have three buses running late, we know. Thanks." Click.
Uhhh, ok. How rude. *****. So after my kids, and several others were left standing on a street corner for an hour they finally just walked home. I don't have the mini van, Ruben does, so I had no choice but to let them stay home.
Now I don't know if this will be an unexcused absence or not as I'm sure eventually a bus showed up, but seriously, how long are you supposed to leave kids hanging around on a street corner before it just becomes ridiculous? And we didn't even have an estimated time of arrival, just one rude sentence and a hang up.
Whatever. I told them not to worry about it. They are in their rooms reading now.

That's wonderful news! I'm so happy to hear that. It will make what is already a special trip, even more so.Did I mention that we will also be going to Club 33 on this trip? Yep!
Amen!Yay for the Clark County school district. Only the finest for us here in Las Vegas. And to think... this is before the budget and salary cuts for next year!
I dunno. I did find it hard to believe that in an hour they couldn't get their act together. Or at least tell the parents calling in, because I'm certain many of them were, what to expect, or an apology or something. I'm sure she was frazzled but no need to be rude and hang up on someone. That is just plan weird! I cannot believe that! Who does that
OMG, ice cream doesn't sound good right now at all. But that's only because I just gorged myself on left over junk from the weekend. Now I feel ill.
I do love the idea of an ice cream meet. I've never eaten at the Gibson Girl ice cream parlor.
NEVER??? I go EVERY trip! But I LOVE ice cream!
Beth don't feel bad....I've never had Gibson Girl Ice Cream either.....we go by & take nose hits, but never had stood in the loooooooooooong lines to get any........
I know.....my bad!!
Don't forget about us Oregonians! I'm up for it, or down for it, or dialed in, whatever.
Mel I hope your sister enjoys the trip and that is so awesome that you guys get to go to Club 33. SOME day I hope to go there!! Take lots of pics for us!!
And Beth that is just unacceptable. I don't care how frazzled she is there is no excuse to be rude. And that is just dangerous to leave kids standing that long. That is why I don't let my kids ride the bus because I have always been afraid of something like that and who knows what could happen. I would def be ticked at her attitude. But at least like you said you can have a fun day anyway!
I have to make 2 apts today and have called both docs office and got no answer on one and a busy signal since YESTERDAY at the other so I just gave up and said to heck with it LOL. I have just been on here and tackling my unending mound of laundry LOL. Have you ever noticed how those laundry piles never seem to get any smaller.
I wouldn't give it a second thought. Let them have a good ole fun day off. Of course, maybe this wasn't your plan for a fun day off?Oh, my older kids are home from school today. Hi Sarah! My DH will do the laundry.............but you have to be careful what gets into the basket. My DD put a brand new all cotton white sweater in it, and he put it into the hottest bleachiest load possible! I was unloading the washer this morning and found it. Uh oh.......................so it is now air drying. Hope it didn't shrink too much!I am with you about Club 33 and Laundry...Dh didn't do any while I was gone. How sweet. We did one load last night and tonight I get to do the rest though I think I will take ds to McD's so he can play in the play place. He loves that and it's his birthday...we aren't having the party till this weekend.
Sarah
