Birthday admission options

I apologize if this has been asked and answered a million times.

If I am at WDW on my bday but use either some old unexpired admission or a package (part of the free dining promo), what is the $ value of the gift card I can get? Is it for a one-day admission, or will they check to see how much one day cost me (ie a multiday ticket would be around $50, a one-day is over $75)

The amount is based on the current gate price of a one day admission for the celebrant ($75 for an adult).
