This will be the "official thread" for the 2010 Princess 1/2 Marathon and Royal Family 5k.

note: Host hotels for this race weekend won't be announced til June. So, if i were you, don't book your room until you know what they offer!

I did this year's 5K with daughters and granddaughters. We had so much fun and really want to do it again.
Oldest daughter and I are definitely planning to do the half in 2010. We've already started with workouts and early preps to keep us in shape and get us ready for future marathon training.

I'll be doing both races again, need to get under an hour, but I'm not signing up to a lot later in the year.....or when it starts to get full, as there are a lot of other races that I need to pay for first.

I am leaning towards doing this, but will wait on the sign up until later this year. Disney can live without my money better then I can!

I'll be signing up again - I had such a good time at this race! I'm dragging my friend to do it too, it will be her first 1/2! Plan to do the 5k as well, I missed posing with a lot of characters during the 1/2 as I was trying for a PR (which I got!)

I would love to do the full marathon in Jan. but can't travel twice in two months... maybe in 2011

Glad to see alot of you back!! I am also going to be doing the 5k with my dd - probably walking most of that -- since i don't want to push it -- i have never done 2 races back to back.. LOL But, my dd is begging me to do the 5k (she will be 9 next year) so i'll let her! Although, i even told her that she can feel free to run ahead, i will just point her in the direction of the finish line and she can just GO! LOL Then i said when she finishes, she can just stand there and wait for me. She knows her way around those parks by now!

My sister and I are running the DL 5K in September, I am trying to talk her into doing the WDW Princess 5K or HM w/me. It's sounds like a blast and would be great fun for us to do a sisters only trip to WDW as well! So it looks like it will be a possible September sign up for me.

And now for a bit of silliness, just because... The mixer starts here.

This week's mixer theme is "Superpowers That Would Be More Trouble Than They're Worth," and your question:

What would be the superpower you would end up being granted?


Some examples:

• The ability to tell the future, but only one minute ahead of time.
• Super-strength, but only in your thumbs.
• The ability to read the minds of people whose language you don't understand.
• The ability to see through one layer of clothes.
• Super breath, strong enough to knock down your opponents. Unfortunately, it's because you're smells like garlic and you always have that power.

Of course, your superpower is unique to you. So feel free to tell us what you would do with your power or why you got so lucky as to be given it. Bonus points--again, they're worth nothing--for telling us what superpowers you think other WISHers might get. (Keep it DIS-friendly, though, folks!)
