February Magical Family Adventures!!~ LAST DAY!! (6/5)

Oh my goodness!!!!! I can't believe the end to that night!! Geez, men!!! :goodvibes

Poor hubby and you!!Many years ago my ex was chopping branchs with a axe and it got caught in the clothes line and rickashayed back and hit him in the head with the dullside but it split his head open ..blood everywhere and he says I don't need to go to the hospital ! Men what is with them ! Of course he went but what is the big thing about "It's nothing"""

Trent is so into Legos now

We just got him Indiana Joans set today..one of the small ten dollar sets.

a few weeks ago, we got him a Star Wars one

He actually does really well with it....last year, it was so hard for him, guess he is growing up

Okay, sorry about babbling there

anyway.. what an eventful end to a night for you all

Hope you made it your adr next morning after being ER until late :goodvibes
They are growing up fast aren't they? DS would love either one of those sets!
Yeah it was definitely an eventful night. :rotfl: We do make it for the ADR's but that night sort of marked the tired feeling for us for the rest of the trip. We never really could catch up on sleep after that for some reason. Oh well, still fun!!!.....the trip, not the ER:laughing:

YIKES!!!!:scared1: I have no idea why they decide they don't need to go. Strange. :confused3

So sorry i haven't been around. We rescued a puppy from our local shelter and come to find out she was sick when they spayed her, which lowered her immune system and now she has a major bronchial infection. We've been fighting to save her. This morning she is looking a lot better but still not out of the woods. I brought her home one week ago today and I can't believe all the things that have happened in only 1 week. She is most definitely a fighter. I will give her that!! I'm having to give her 2 different antibiotics, some pain meds, and feed her a special food so she doesn't get dehydrated. The infection spread to her joints so she can't walk more than a few steps. She has never stopped eating and drinking and I think that is what is helping to save her. She is a black lab mix. She is 2 months old and her name is Lucy.

Here is a pic of her and DS the day after we brought her home. She was sick but the infection had not set in completely yet. The antibiotics the shelter sent her home with did not work and that is why she got so sick. 1 day later I had her in OUR vet's office and we've been fighting this ever since.

Pixie dust and prayers for Lucy!!! She is adorable! :wizard:

Thanks you guys!! :grouphug:

She is doing much better. The meds are working and today she was walking around much more. YAY!!! The sinus drip is gone and I think it's almost all gone from her chest too. Today she was wagging her tail all day and wanted to play, play, play. She loves going outside and laying in the grass. Her favorite thing to do is pick grass and small flowers and spit them out. I thought she was eating it at first but she's not. She just likes pulling it out of the ground. Too funny. She is very smart too. She has already learned to go to the door when she needs to go out. Even with the 2-3 days of not being able to walk. She did not forget. I can't wait till she is back to 100 percent so we can do doggie classes and such. DS is having a great time playing with her and she just loves him too.

How sweet! I'm so glad she's getting betting, your little guys heart would just break.

What a cute puppy!
I can't believe how sick she was! Poor thing!

hi everyone,

Thanks for sticking with me. I'm affraid I haven't been a very good trip reporter this time around. There is just so much going on right now. Not only do i not have time to wait for photo's to upload to finish my report but I haven't had much time to read everyone else's reports. I feel so out of touch. I'm sorry! :sad1:

I'm hoping to be able to do some catching up after the holiday weekend. Today we have a big Easter Egg hunt at school. Saturday I'm shooting a short film that I got a silly part in. Should be fun. I haven't been able to do any projects with the film group in a while. Also, I am throwing my sister a Bridal Shower on May 2. Today was the day I told her I needed the addresses to mail off the invitations. I still don't have them. She has NOT been very cooperative and it's VERY annoying.

Anyway, I hope you all have a good Easter weekend and get to spend some time with family and friends. I hope to "see" you all on Monday.:grouphug:

Good to hear from you Cherie. :goodvibes We all understand how life gets busy sometimes. That'll be me soon enough!

We'll be here when you have time.
