That would have made me mad too!
I am sure everyone around you was glad that you spoke up.
I loved seeing Parker on the bus. He is so funny!
Your Fl trip sounds fun. My mom and dad went to Key West in Sept on a cruise and they loved it. There was a shell store there they really liked (nice Christmas ornaments and jewelry). They said it was cheap too.
we are so looking forward to it especially since the winter is almost over and we want summer weather.
Good for you standing up to them and saying what everybody else was thinking!
sometimes you just cant hold it anymore and have to say something. I was very glad i did.
Good for you Dan!!! I would've been right there cheering for you!! How CRAZY!!!
Even crazier... your legs falling asleep and you falling down.. hope you didn't get hurt.
I must say, Parker has the most BEAUTIFUL eyes EVER!!! WOW!!!
Good stuff as always....
I can see all of you from the DIS around me cheering me on "go fauntleroy, fo fauntleroy."
haha
when you see them in person they are carribean ocean blue for sure.
i did not get hurt when i feel, just had to wait to get feeling back for a while. i am just glad i was not holding parker still.
Good for you! You handled the situation perfectly and well the report of it is great! Love the CSR night pics! Parker is so cute!
thanks, i am glad i took good notes eachnight so i could remember the dialoge but that situation i still remember it without notes.
the Brazilian Throwdown was hysterical! Some of those tour groups are so obnoxious, I am glad you stood up to them LOL. I also love the story about Parker and Ariel's clam shells!
We are going this December around the dates you were there, were the parks really crowded? I didn't read all the posts from other people, I just read your posts.
thanks, glad to entertain you.
we did not seem to have bad crowds, the first few days were a little busy since they hadjust gotten done filming the christmas day parade tellacast, but other than that we had a great time and felt the crowds were low.
Great update! And awesome that you stood your ground on the parade route
We've had several parade experiences ruined by people trying to trample us just as the parade is starting. SO frustrating...
now you will have the courage to tell themto back off
Great Story!!!
I am glad you gave it to them and gave it good
I am so sick and tired of them always saying No speak English and then 2 mins later you hear them chatting with each other in plain english
How cute parker tried to crawl after Mickey
Great update
that was a great memory candi was almost crying when he was trying to get to the floats she loved it.
You go Dan!! Great job on standing your ground for the parade! I've done that at
Disneyland a couple of times
. Its a shame that kind of thing has to be done.
So how does it feel to get old!
Cause baby, that's what happens!
Your body just locks up and its all over!
You just seem to have trouble with balance on Main Street.
Parker sure does love the visuals. It can be over-stimulation for a lot of kids,
but your little guy seems to crave it.
yep i am getting old and doing sports for 9 years from school to college has not helped the body any.
i like the balance on main street comment.
he loves noises and things that are moving he will play with anything that he can hit and make a loud noise.
Great story! I too get fed up with ignorance, you handled it really well!
thank you very much.
Did you see the matching fanny packs?
Dan, I'm glad you put that girl in her place! I get really tired of people doing that kind of thing. Like you said, you didn't wait 1 1/2 hrs in that spot so someone else could use it.
So sorry you fell down - I was laughing, cuz I could see myself doing something like that. I'm glad you were okay.
yeah right you were laughing at me falling it is okay, i laugh at it now too after the fact and glad i did not fall ontoa little kid behind me, but to bad that one of those brazilians was not behind me to fall onto.
wow.....good job on the smack down!
i truly believe in sticking up for yourself when needed and not letting people walk all over you. ray hates it when i run my mouth but i've learned with age that sometimes it's necessary....not always but sometimes. and even if those girls could not speak english, common courtesy is a universal thing, i think. i can't stand it when people try to squeeze in 15 minutes before a show! i think i'm going to start carrying a big poster with me that says, "I GOT HERE BEFORE YOU AND HAVE BEEN PATIENTLY WAITING TO ENJOY THIS SHOW. PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO SQUEEZE IN FRONT OF ME. THANK YOU AND HAVE A NICE DAY."
the video of parker at spectro is so cute! ouch about your ankles!!!! that's crazy. i was squatting the whole time the first time i saw spectro because i was sitting in the planter next to the gallows on liberty square and wanted to film above the heads of the people who were sitting on that wall, but didn't want to block the view of the people behind me (again....common courtesy!). my legs hurt SO BAD when i stood up but i didn't fall. glad you didn't hit anyone!
and parker....WHAT A FLIRT!!!!
i am liking your sign, it could be on one of htose flags that the brazilain tour groups walk around with.
i hate that feeling of things falling asleep...it happens to me all the time, i think i can sit indian style for an hour and be fine.
I am loving your report! I've read your others but never commented. I have a question for you - on your first day of resort exploring where did you take the picture in the silver "mouse ears"? I love that - I think it was the contemporary but couldn't tell for sure. I'm only about halfway through your report but can't wait to finish!
P.S. Parker is adorable - just in case you didn't know that!
yep it is on the back side of the contemporary, just walk out the ground floor to the boat dock and you will see it on your left, there is a table to set your acamera on for self timer.
You go man!!! I had to tell my DH about that one because I knew that he would appreciate it! He is not one to hold back. He has held a spot many a time for the parade and had to speak up several times for people to back off. Sorry about the leg thing. I'm glad you didn't get hurt, but I have to say that it was hard for me not to giggle thinking about you falling backward. (I know, I'm a big meany
) I really am glad that you didn't get hurt or that you weren't holding Parker.
I still can't get over how smiley Parker is!
glad he enjoyed it.
that is okay to laugh at me, i laugh at myself all the time.
