Well, it was a beautiful weekend, around here, and you could ask for nothing else but to be outside and enjoying it.

So what did i do, i stayed inside, and candi and parker went to an outlet mall.

But i had good reason to stay inside, I put down new flooring in our living room

It turned out great, my dad and FIL came over to help, and just a full days worth on saturday and about 4 hours on sunday and it was all done.

Here is the finished product.

and all done, the only thing left is to put on the trim, which will go up this week.

Great job on the floor Dan! Is that laminate flooring? We put that in our kitchen/dining room and guest bedroom. We love it. Now if Parker spills anything on the floor it will be much easier to clean up.

I loved Parker with all his Princess kisses.........so very cute.
Also enjoyed picturing you trying to carry that dole float with the stroller.
Way to be the man & tell it like it is with the drama surrounding the spot stealing at the parade. I hate it when people do that. It makes me so mad.

Chapter 1. Welcome and start of our 2008 Christmas trip. Day 1 Part 1

There is a chapter listing at the end of this post for the other chapters

Welcome everyone to our 2008 Christmas trip....

This was the first time that we have seen WDW at Christmas time all decorated and celebrating the holidays. I will do a brief intro about this trip for those of you that may be new and have not read the Pre Trip Report, if you would like to catch up to us and see some things that have happened before the trip, please click HERE. Otherwise, continue on and enjoy the brief description.

I planned this trip, because, it was going to suprise trip for the wife to encompass, her birthday anniversary and christmas, but that did not last long, she still got alot of stuff for her birthday for this trip, found out about the trip by reading the boards, which she rarely does, so i thought i was safe in sharing it with you guys before i told her, that was a mistake, next time i wont do that first...still got a weekend get away to downtown chicago for our anniversary, and still getting alot of good stuff for christmas, so it just turned out to be a great christmas trip to WDW on its own.


Now it is time to share some about this trip, it was from December 7th to December 13th staying at Coronado Springs resort. taking over 1400 pictures and 3 hours of video so sit back and enjoy the ride...

Now you may be asking where did that title come from, and if you are not asking it then you are thinking about it right now.

well that little man pictured above, literally flirted with every single person he saw in Disney...i have many stories, about his flirting and making people smile, so stay tuned and you will see how the title came about.

I think it is fair to start the TR with the day before we left, my parents brough over there scale so we could see how much our luggage weighed, and do drop a few things off...we dont have a scale, so we dont obsese over checking our weight every day...candis dad does that and if he gains one pound one day, he will only eat granola bars till he losses that pound.

So here we are the day before we leave, parker was just sitting in front of the tree watching it go around while we got things ready...

That is his disney train that my parents got him when they went to disney this summer.

he loves it and real smoke comes out of the engine while it goes around the tree.

we put him to bed around 7:30 and we finished packing and watched some tv since we were pretty pumped about our trip....

Candi had the alarm set for 3:30 so she could get up and get ready before getting parker ready and feeding him...

I woke up at 4:00 and got parker up at 4:15, he was very tired, but when it was time to nurse, man he perked up in a hurry...

I took some pictures of our pins, so we would not trade for the same ones that we already had...and came out to the living room, to find a very happy little man with a full tummy...i told him that we were leaving for disney world and to give dada a smile and this is what i got....

My parents picked us up at 5:00 to get going to the airport... parker talked with his jibber jabber for the first 20 minutes on the highway and then was out like a light...we got to the airport at 6:00 and said our goodbyes, then waited at the airtran gate to check our luggage...

This was our first encounter of flirting, he was playing with the little girl in line behind us and giving her smiles, or smirks as we like to call it...

she loved his little air jordan shoes...

bags checked and ready to move on it was security time...6:45 we roll through security but not with a little crap from the TSA agent...she did not like me having all of parkers baby food jars...i said i called midway airport and airtran and they both said every time i called that it was okay to carry his food on the plane they are unopened jars, and still have the seal on them...

she tells me well they are not TSA, i have to go get special clearance. and how long is your flight sir, i say 2 hours, she says he needs all this food for 2 hours, and i said well i dont want to check 15 jars of glass and have broken baby food all of my clothes when i get there so i am carring it on...well let me check with my supervisor...she says a few other smart comments and mumbles something to the other TSA agent...and i get hte clearance, and say thank you have a great day...

we get our stuff put all back together and head to our terminal...

we had it much easier on the way home with the TSA guys,

we found our gate, and i went to get some Mcdonalds, our routine preflight breakfast...i have never had the best luck at this counter however, the first year i left our boarding passes on the counter, and luckily someone turned them into our gate i did not know they were missing till they called my name about 30 minutes later to get them...

this year, they couldnot get my order right for anything, i kept tell her the number meals i wanted and she kept giving me chicken biscuits, she said you wanted a number five right, and i say yes, look behind you that is a sausage biscuit, she was giving me attitude like i ordered wrong, but with that behind us we ate our breakfast and with that i will leave you....

this chapter is getting a little long, so i will stop for now...coming up next...

yep it is, we got it from sams club.
him or me, i spill drinks all the time, i spilled a bloody mary on newyears on the carpet, that took a while to get out.
and i lost my drink.

you will really enjoy it, it was easy to put in once we got out of the little hallway area that we had to do a bunch of little trims around.

we always have a good time wherever we go, that is how you are suppose to enjoy life
we carried him at different parts, but most of the time he was in his stroller and liked to look around on his own.

Chapter 28. Tuxes in Disney.

We board the bus to MGM luckily it came fast unlike the other days.

We arrive at MGM shortly and take off to the boats.

We find our seats and there is a few asian girls sitting behind us that are laughing and smiling at parker. They turn to me and ask if they can take pictures of him? Sure i say go ahead, she starts snapping i think i hear the clicker go 16 times before i turn back around...They are laughing and snapping away and saying "aahhh cute" to him over and over again...

Candi turns to me and says i think he is going to end up on a billboard in asia.I wonder if we can ask for some money for it.


They end up showing him the picture on there camera and he tries to grab it.


We enjoy the rest of the boat ride and parker has fun looking out the window.

We arrive at the swan and dolphin stop and make our exit from the papparzi.

Here is part of our walk over to the boardwalk.

As we are coming over the bridge to the boardwalk entrance, we see a large trailer, well thatdoes not belong there, what is going on?

As we get closer we see a red carpet...ohhh fancy smansy, something is happening.

Then we notice what it is, they are filming the college football awards there tonight every award was going to handed out there except the heisman trophy it gets awarded in NY that weekend i think it was.

As we were walking on a bare boardwalk, we come to the game section, i wanted to play but the prizes did not look that great, and we did not want to take the time...we had a carousel to encounter.

So we press on, and into the main lobby of the boardwalk.

I see my main man donald holding it downin the gazzebo with his main squeeze daisy.

it would be fun to tear it down

Then it was on to the boardwalk again, and around to the BC, we noticed a bunch of guys dressed up in tuxes and suites and they were big dudes i am sure that if i watched more college football, i would have recognized someof them and maybe been able to not look stupid asking non football players for there autograph.

My cousin was at the new york awards banquet. He won the Gigliardi (SP??) trophy for D3 football. He is (was) a senior quarterback for Mt Union in Alliance OH...They have won the D3 national championship 3 out of the 4 yrs he played there. Apparently it was some ladi dah banquet. Cost my uncle 1600 just for the rest of the family to go to the banquet and eat dinner! And that is not including the hotel and airfare. I think they were there like 3 days maybe and it probably cost them about $10k to go. I am sure there were a lot of families not being able to go bc it was soo costly.!

The floor is really pretty! You did a nice job! I have never walked around the Boardwalk. It looks pretty neat. I have eaten at the ESPN Zone in Las Vegas and the food was really good. We might have to go over there one day.

I watch some college football, but not sure I would even recognize guys unless they had their jerseys on.
I love the different ginger bread houses that are on the property at Christmas. It's incredible how many ingredients are in just ONE house!
