Hi! We're baaack... so nice to come home to the 10 degree frozen tundra- but today's a heat wave, already up to 27degrees at 9:45 in the morning! We had the best time we have ever had in St John- the weather was gorgeous, we actually went in the water, and we ate and drank waaaaaaayyyyy too much!

I haven't decided on a TR yet, but I'm leaning towards an abbreviated version of one. I DID take a TON of food porn!

Actually, I took a ton of everything- I think I took over 700 pics in 5 days. But it's just so beautiful there, i couldn't resist.

And this is the full crew on the last day, we went to Jost Van D in the BVI's. It was Inauguration Day- we were out of the country for Election Day AND this!

Even our near death experience at the end of the trip provided another great photo op in St Thomas-

Can you say, "OMG, mr. taxi mon, puh-leeze don't go up Paradise Point in this 3 wheeled cart on the way to the airport!!!!!

And yes, I did cry when I saw her and had to pass her by! Plus I was completely terrified because the driver kept telling us this was a very dangerous road!

Funny thing, when I got home, I found out Lonnie, of SSR girlie TR fame, was there at the SAME TIME for the first two days!!!!!! Too bad she didn't return my latest phone call/ email until after she returned!!!

Welcome back to the frozen tundra. It has been really cold here, for Alabama, with highs in the 30s and lows in the teens. Today, however, it is back up into mid-60s! Yay!

DW & I decided to upgrade our May vacation from Pop Century to CSR again. We loved it soooo much last year we just had to do it again!

DW & I decided to upgrade our May vacation from Pop Century to CSR again. We loved it soooo much last year we just had to do it again!

Sure- we can always use even more best friends! I think a big part of the reason we go away so much is that our friends keep on asking us to go- and I'm easy, I hardly EVER say no!! In 2 weeks we're skiing overnight in the poconos with our friends at their property...in April, the 2 cruise DSs and I are headed to Corolla Light in the OuterBanks with a group of 8 families, and next year we may do Sandals in the Bahamas with other friends who are celebrating their 10th anniversary...we are very, very lucky to have so many great friends who keep asking us to join them (actually turned down 2 cruises and a Napa Valley trip this past year!).

And I cannot believe it was that cold in Alabama!!! At least we have coats up here- you guys must be chilled to the bone!! I am so glad you love CSR so much- I have friends who stayed there last year, and I was helping them plan their trip, so it's good to know it's so beautiful- I do love the way it looks in your pics on your report!

It took me about an hour- I was lagging behind the girl next to me, Perianne (who is Jane's BFF and who I just got to know- Jane is with the hat, she is my wonderful friend who keeps inviting us to St John every year), because for 20 minutes or so I was trying to get the phone camera to work! Then Kevin, Jane's DH, said, "You'd better powerdown there with Perianne, El" and I chugged. And we finished at the same time. The powerdown with Perianne line became a HUGE joke for the rest of the trip. Those Ritas were GIANT SIZED!!!!!

And BTW, my friends were all so sad about you and all your snow!

Thanks! And yea- we were pretty happy after drinkin' them!! We were laughing so hard at our own jokes, we couldn't breathe!

Hey V, you bad girl, you! We were in a villa called Indigo in Cruz Bay. (If you google Indigo, you can see the whole house, which was actually 2 houses). It looked down into the bay the Westin is on in St. John.

Oh, that is just creepy! I really don't like the looks of this pool! I do want to stay in this resort, just near the quiet pool. Oh, they probably don't have a bar, huh? Maybe if I have enough to drink, I'll learn to like the clown!

Where was I...oh yeah! The BWV! Our room was ready, so the DSs and I went to check out the room...now, this was our 1st time navigating the BWV and it's legendary hallways, so it took a little time to find where we were. I had booked us into a 1BR villa with a water/pool view with the DVC cash discount. What we got was....a BOARDWALK VIEW! I have to say, as an Epcot lover, this has to be the finest view of them all. WOW. Just WOW!

The kids were thrilled with the size of the room- it was truly very pretty in there, very homey, I really loved it!

The boys were parked in front of the tv, and it was pretty obvious they needed some downtime, so we stayed. I did, however, run over to the lobby to get some pics. This lobby is, i think, my favorite of all the resorts I've been in-
