I haven't made this or tried it, but I'm giving the recipe to a coworker as part of a Christmas gift. I thought it sounded yummy.
Bread Bowl Fondue
1 round loaf unsliced bread
8 oz Velveeta, cubed
16 oz sour cream
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
8 oz cream cheese
1 cup fully cooked ham, diced
1/2 cup chopped green onions
1-4 oz can chopped green chilies
2 Tbs vegetable oil
1 Tbs butter, melted
Cut the top 1/4th off the loaf of bread, set aside. Hollow out bottom, leave 1/2-inch shell. Cube remaining bread, In large bowl; combine Velveeta, sour cream and cream cheese, Stir in ham, onions, chilies, and Worcestershire sauce. Spoon into bread, replace top. Wrap tightly in foil. Place on baking sheet; Bake at 350° for 60-70 minutes. Toss bread cubes with oil and butter. Place on baking sheet. Bake for 10-15 minutes, stir occasionally. Unwrap loaf, stir filling. Serve with vegetables and toasted bread cubes.
