DLR & WDW photopass question

Has anyone put DLR photopass pix on same account as WDW pix?
I can participate in a share - I'm the only one going to DLR - the others are going to WDW.

Are there features that may not be available to me since my card # will start off with DLR xxxxxxxxxxxx and not WDW?

People have done it before, and it's fine.

But you might consider finding a DLR share, b/c the shared cost will be lower!

I did one Feb/March 2008 with a few people from each resort. As far as I know, it worked out great for everyone. I wouldn't know about more recent price changes though.

You'll get all the same features. And yes, you can have pix from both parks on the same PP account (and CDs.)

I just ordered my CD the other day and I ended up with over 2100 pix. I started it off with pix from WDW (in which I was in a CD share group) and ended it with pix from DLR. Since the DLR pix were the last loaded, I paid the cheaper price ($59.95 + $7 shipping) vs. the $129.95 WDW, or $99.95 pre order price. I also extended my time frame by ordering one item from the site and got an extra 30 days. My deadline to order was 11/11, but my pix are still in my account today(11/16). But, that may not always be the case.

I figure I had about 670 original pix of my own which I editted to about 2000. My 2 other CD sharers only had about 150 after edits.

One interesting thing I noticed about 2 days before I ordered by CD, the order my pix were showing up in my account had changed. I think they (Disney) reorganized them by date taken, not date entered. One of my sharers entered her WDW at the 30 day limit. Originally they were showing up at the end of each WDW park. Now they are in the middle. Also, the same thing happened on my water park pix-originally my BB pix were first, then TL. Now they are TL then BB-which is the order in which we visited the park, but not the order I uploaded in.

I'm thinking that Disney has changed the way the are organized, just in case someone enters a DLR PP card last, but the pictures weren't the last ones taken. That way if WDW ones were last, you would be charged the WDW price. But, that's JMHO.

Wow - good info! Thanks for sharing!

I'm not too concerned about the price of it. There are enough families involved in the share to bring the cost to about $18.

I just realized I asked the same questions on another thread - so if you see it again - feel free to ignore it! I won't be offended!

Really? That's odd because I just ordered mine on 11/11. Took pix at WDW in Sept. uploaded those and then took pix at DLR in Sept, Oct., and November. Uploaded those as I got back each time. I was charged $59.95 plus $7 shipping. $66.95 total.

No. I did have the pre-paid CD from WDW code but I didn't use it and I plan on asking for a refund. (I'm still within my 200+ weeks to request refund). When I entered the CD into my cart, it came up as $59.95. That's all I did.

I wonder why you were charged the WDW price? Very strange.

You had me worried so even though my receipt showed $66.95 I just checked my DV account-yep they only charged me the $66.95. Doesn't seem fair does it?

Maybe now they base it on which ever park has the most pictures? I just checked and I had about 300 originals from WDW, plus about 52 from 2 CD sharers which totals around 352 originals from WDW and I had about 384 from DLR. So maybe since I had more DLR than WDW that's how the price was decided? If not, I don't know why I was able to get the DLR and you weren't.

I definitely did confirm when just now looking back on my PP account that last week when my pix changed their order that they are now showing up in order taken, not order loaded.

ADDED-and interesting to me as well is all my pix are still there even though alot of them were to have started to disappear on 11/12. Of course you can't rely on that if your expiration date is approaching.
