How To Lose Waldo in 10 days-The Trilogy~NEW 10/26 - Final Thoughts; Adios Amigos!

Our pager went off in about 10 minutes, so really they were only 5 minutes behind. We had a lovely Hispanic server who was so sweet and welcomed us back to the CP. She was super sweet to the kids and even took them over to the buffet to show them the kiddie buffet and the desserts.:goodvibes She was down with da' brown! :thumbsup2

Ok, now I’m not really a fan of buffets, but I have to say of the buffets we had on this trip (Tusker House, Catfoodgarten :scared: , CP) this one was my favorite. They have the most lovely cold buffet items and that alone to me is worth it. That, and the salmon. OMG, it’s to die for! I don’t know what exactly it is but there are only 2 places where I eat salmon; Boma and CP. I think it may be the same recipe, I don’t know, but it’s fantastic.

All the characters came around and posed with the kids, all except Pooh. We waited and waited for Pooh, then decided we’d try to find him at Epcot later or something. I’d forgotten the autograph books princessjv made for the kids back in the room and so I knew we’d have to character hunt in the next few days. :headache:

After our meal, we decided to use our SM FP’s and walked over there. The FP line was completely congested and in fact was longer than the stand-by line. You could see up to the 2nd floor that the line was not moving. We decided to wait until later to ride. It was about 30 minutes until the Toon Town DIS meet, so we all used the facilities and jumped back on the train to Toon Town.

As we got off, I noticed a couple of benches between the train station and the playground. One was empty, so I pulled up and parked next to a lady and her family. I chatted with my mom and Waldo and Evan headed to ride Barnstormer and Maddie and Andy headed over to visit Minnie’s house. The lady kept looking at me and it didn’t dawn on me that she could be a DISer. There were no noticeable LGMH’s or lanyard, so I didn’t think she was a DISer. :confused3

She looked at me again and said “Tracy?” OMG! It was Tanya90210! I’d never seen a picture of her, so I had no idea! :lmao: We said our hello’s and I noticed it was after 3:30, where was everyone? Janet had texted me to say she wasn’t going to make it after all. I looked over at the other side of the playground and there was Jo, Mo, & Margie and their families. I walked over and said “Ahem. The train station is over THERE!”, pointing to where Tanya was standing. They laughed and we all walked over and chatted with eachother. Of course, this time we got a picture. :thumbsup2

wdw8-26009.jpg

Margie, Mo, Me, Jo, Jess and Tanya in the back and Kelly Ellie and Maddie in the front row.

Evan and Waldo came back and then Evan took TE over to Barnstormer to ride another 2 times! We said our good-byes as everyone had places to go and itineraries to keep.

We got on the train back to SM to try again. This time the FP line was moving fast, like it should, so we jumped in line. Maddie was a bit nervous about it, as she’s never been on this and Evan was down right excited, my little daredevil. After our log went down the big drop, I asked the kids if they liked it, loved it, or hated it. They both cried that they loved it! :woohoo: They wanted to ride it again, but the wait time was like 90 minutes.

We got back on the train to Main Street and were greeted by shouts from our favorite British DISer and her family, DisneyJo! ;) We finally headed out of the park around 4:30pm.

Back in the room, we all napped or played or watched movies until around 7pm, when we decided to go down and grab some food from AP and perhaps hit the pool. As we walked over to AP, I noticed the pool wasn’t crowded at all, so we ate quickly and went over and jumped in the pool. The kids were having a blast going down the little slide and Maddie had fun doing the big one. I had brought a swim ring for Evan, so I blew it up and he went down the slide over and over again. (<-Remember that!) There was another father at the end of the little slide and we all took turns guiding the little ones back to the ladder for another trip down the slide. We all had so much fun.

Around 8:30 we could see lightening in the distance and decided to get out and head back to the room. Waldo complained that his chest felt “heavy” that night. I thought that was odd and asked him if he felt pain or just pressure. I was worried he was having or was on the verge of a heart attack. No, he said it felt like pressure, perhaps from all the coughing. I gave him another Claritin and we all showered and got into bed.

Up Next: Waldo REALLY needs medical attention. :guilty:

Great pics of Splash, Tracy. I wanna try to get my girls on that one, but I'm not sure if they'll go for it or not.

And you're just mean making us wait to hear what's going on with Waldo!

WowWhat an update !! Cp is my fav. restaurant !! We love buffets as with the picky eaters it is easier to find things they like and I love CP's buffet! Shrimp and mussels ...pure heaven. The prime rib is good too!! Great Dis Meet they are sooo muck fun ! Checkout my meet on my PTR!!

great update.....

1. i hate when people plop themselves in the middle of the row....... esp when the cm repeats over and over...please move to the end of the row. :headache: rude people

2. sounds like a great time at mk!! i luv that pic on splash mountain. i can tell by the pic that evan is the daredevil and maddie is a little more reserved! that pic is priceless!:thumbsup2

3. :sad1: i need to know that waldo is okay!!

I  the salmon at CP. In fact...I have the recipe and have made it several times. ;) Want it???

And I'm really worried about Waldo. :sad2: You need to hurry up and post your next install. I'm co-dependent...and this is cruel.

Sheesh! I rode with Evan and OMG! I swear it was dreadfully painful! This is how our ride went:

BAM! Hahaha BAM! Hahaha!! BAM! Hahaha!! Darn it Evan! Cut it out! BAM! Hahaha! :rolleyes

wdw8-26003.jpg

I love the face of evil kenevil(sp??) there!!!

The itinerary said we should now head over to Buzz, but Maddie really wanted to ride the Tea Party cups, so we headed over there. I spied a DT CM at the exit, but she had her eye on a particular cup. As soon as that family exited, she started talking to them and gave the little girls some pins and a certificate. Whew!

wdw8-26004.jpg

Next was Evan’s turn and he picked Peter Pan, so off to Neverland we went. Thankfully there was maybe a 5 minute wait. When we got off that, both kids really wanted to hit IASW next. They both really love that ride. Blah! As we got in line, a young girl pointed to my LGMH and then tapped her mom on the shoulder. The mother said she and daughter were both DISers, but I didn’t catch her name.

OK if this isn't a disney ad I don't know what is!

Hey doesn’t this child look like ….

THIS CHILD??:rotfl2:

:lmao: I made KC come look and he laughed with me!

When I say most people, I don’t mean me. You see a rather large man plopped himself and his family down right smack in the middle of our row. The couple in front of us, climbed over him, his wife, and his 3 children. Yeah, nice. But not me. I stood there and said, “Sir, can you please move down?” He refused and told me to go around him. Nope, no way. I told him there was no way I was going to climb over him and that he should really just get up. Again, he refused. So I did it. I climbed over him and stepped on both his feet. And no, I didn’t say sorry or excuse me or pardon me. Serves him right. As soon as we were over him, a CM came over and told him to get up and move all the way down as he had now created a nice HUGE bottleneck. Neener, neener, neener. Idiot. :snooty:

LOVE IT! I'd have done the same darn thing!!!! Stupid people!

Oh gosh poor waldo!!

BAM! Hahaha BAM! Hahaha!! BAM! Hahaha!! Darn it Evan! Cut it out! BAM! Hahaha! :rolleyes
Sounds like a fun ride :rotfl2:

Great photo, it came out way better than mine did!

Whoo hoo! I was so excited. Until I saw what they were. More ears. Dude did they have over stock on those stinkin’ ears or what? Not that I didn’t appreciate them, but jeeze, throw a sister a Dream Fast Pass or something!
OMG T :rotfl2:

Why do people do that :headache: We always hang back and wait awhile, then choose our row carefully to score centre :rotfl2:

She looked at me again and said “Tracy?” OMG! It was Tanya90210! I’d never seen a picture of her, so I had no idea! :lmao:
How funny :rotfl2:

We got on the train back to SM to try again.
Did anyone shout at you as you pulled into Main Street? :rotfl2:

Love it :goodvibes

Up Next: Waldo REALLY needs medical attention. :guilty:
OMG T don't leave us hanging too long!!!!

Sheesh! I rode with Evan and OMG! I swear it was dreadfully painful! This is how our ride went:

BAM! Hahaha BAM! Hahaha!! BAM! Hahaha!! Darn it Evan! Cut it out! BAM! Hahaha! :rolleyes
:rotfl2: When we rode, I called dibs on HamBoy and made Mr Diz ride with Baby Girl. I think his ride was like yours.
We tried to get back to the “plan” and hit up Philharmagic. Did you ever notice how most people try and get in that front position right in front of the doors thinking that they’ll score the best seats? And they then get all rude about it, maneuvering themselves right in the middle of the doors?
Yes! We always talk about those people.

Yay!

We didn't see any Dream Team people giving away dreams. We did talk to 2 DT CMs who stopped us to comment about our shirts, but other than that we didn't see any DT CMs. And those 2 didn't give us anything - just said they liked out shirts and wanted to know how I made them.

OMGoodness, the flashback to the '80s. I hate it when guys have better hair than me.

Your kids take such great pictures. I love the tea cup one.

Oh no, Waldo!!!!!

Can't wait to read more!

Tracy, so sorry to have missed your last few updates. They were great. And I love you too:goodvibes

Love that SM pic, you all look like you are having such a ball.

That Flat bread at Jiko sounds so yummy!!!!!

I'm so sad that I missed the MK meet. We must have been walking up main street as you were walking sown to leave becasue our LTT ADR's were at 4:45, so that is about the right time frame:sad2:

I too think the picture of maddie is so magical. You should enter it at http://allears.net/pw/pw.htm. I also like the pick of Evan. It sure does look like him. Ilike CP buffet also. I dont know if I am changing my ADRs arount to fit it in thsi trip.

Great updates, T! I am running out, so I can't quote all the funny bits, but I love the pictures - the teacups and the Speedway in particular!

Looks like a great meet, and a fun day, even though the plan went out the window. :goodvibes

We got to the bus stop just as the flippin’ MK bus pulled away.
THIS is what makes me a believer in the car transport system! :headache:

BAM! Hahaha BAM! Hahaha!! BAM! Hahaha!! Darn it Evan! Cut it out! BAM! Hahaha! :rolleyes

:lmao:

The kids went and played at the little playground under the train station and Andy went and got us some FP’s for Splash for later.
Okay, this is how great Leo's fear of SplM is... we've never even seen that playground because he won't let us get that close!

That, and the salmon. OMG, it’s to die for!
I know, right?! I think there's some mustard in the sauce - it gives it a little sumpin special. :lovestruc

:thumbsup2
