Sorry, couldn't find this particular info on the (dumb) search feature. I'm good on pricing info, phone number, times, etc.

Does Mears stop at several resorts? Or, is it like if they pick you up at "insert disney resort" and you are the only person that gets on the bus, they just take one person to Universal?

If yes, they'll put one person on the bus, that's cool.

But if they do multiple resort pick ups and drop offs, I would like to know since that could add a lot more time to the commute.

(Of course, I wish I was staying at a Universal resort, but may have an opportunity to stay free with friend's dvc points at disney, and am not planning to buy disney park tickets - - except now I can go to disney one day for FREE! Disney announced today you get a one day free ticket on your birthday and I (may) be there my birthday week... What a great deal for locals!).

Thanks!

are you asking about taking mears from disney to universal for the day?

you stated you are staying at disney and getting a free ticket to go to a disney park, but wish you could stay at universal. i'm not sure what you are asking for help on.
if you could rephrase it, i could try to answer your question.

in case you are wanting to do universal for the day while you are staying at disney, you call mears from your disney hotel lobby to reserve a seat for the next day.
they use the mini vans and do a pick up from the resort you are staying at.
you are dropped off at the bus/shuttle area at universal then.

they do not take just one person on this shuttle.
it wouldn't be economical for them to do that at $16 a person rt.

Yes, I just wanted to know how many resort stops and how long to get to Universal from a disney resort. I would hate to stop at a bunch of resorts before heading to Universal, in that case I'd probably take a cab. Also, I wasn't sure if they were smaller shuttles or if they use "big ol" buses that they have to put a ton of people on.

Sometimes I see responses on this board that say, "make it easy on yourself and stay at a universal resort and not at disney"

So for some reason, I was telling everyone that I wish I was staying at a Universal resort, especially since I can't afford a disney park ticket this trip.

But then, I just saw the announcement a few minutes ago that Disney announced giving everyone a free birthday park ticket so that was cool too.

Just long winded and overtired today I think (sorry!)
