Party Meatballs

1 2 lb bagFrozen meatballs
1 jar grape jelly
1 jar Heinz chili sauce

Put ingredients into crockpot. Cook on low until done. (about 4 hours)

**variations**

substitute jellied cranberry sauce for grape jelly

or

substitute apple jelly for grape jelly AND honey mustard sauce for the chili sauce

Very easy and always draws good reviews!

People like my ceasar salad.

This isn't exact, because I just make it without a recipe.

Head of romaine- washed, dired (it has to be dried or it won't take the dressing) and torn into bite sized pieces.

In a large bowl mix, 4 ( or more) cloves of garlic put through a garlic press; 1 can of drained anchovies, juice from 1/2 lemon, a teaspoon of mustard powder and 3-4 tbs olive oil. With the back of a big spoon mash it all together until it's blended. Mix with the lettuce and 2 tbs parmesan. Top with croutons. (homemade are best).

This is REALLY garlicy, but so so good with flank steak and french bread.

I make these ridiculously easy sausage rolls. Cook a roll of sausage and drain. Stir in one block of softened cream cheese. Then take Pillsbury crescent rolls, cut each roll into three smaller triangles. Place a small scoop of the sausage/cream cheese filling in each triangle, roll, and bake as directed on the crescent roll package. So easy, but so good!

My tator tot casserole.

Brown 1 1/2 to 2 pounds hamburger--crumble as fine as possible, drain

Put in bottom of large baking dish sprayed with cooking spray

Mix 1 package frozen peas (let thaw), 1 can cream of chicken soup, 1 can milk. Add chopped onion, salt, pepper and mix well. Pour on top of hamburger.

Add 2 lb package of tator tots. Sometimes I dump them on, other times I will "arrange" them in rows.

Bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees

I rarely bring any home from anyplace I take it. It tastes very good heated up the next day, too.

Thanks for the recipes guys. I'll have to try them out! I do subscribe to the Kraftfoods magazine. :) I just got my new one Thursday I think it was. I've thumbed through it, looks great! I have saved all of my Kraft magazines. I love them!

Check out the recipes on kraftfoods.com. They even have a free magazine you can subscribe to that has easy and yummy recipes. This is one of my favorites.

Also another one of my favorite recipes to make is lasagna rolls. I do my own thing with the recipe though, substituting prosciutto with ground beef. A little more time consuming, but so yummy.

Well..you said easy...

Pizza dough (ready made, from your local pizza shop or from the grocery store)

Melt butter, and mix with garlic salt (to taste, I just shake some in)

Then I put about 2 cups of Mozz & Provalone Cheese in a big bowl and mix with more garlic (but this time, I use chopped garlic)

But that all together in the logical sense and serve with Romaine Lettuce.

YUMM-O~

Seafood pasta:

Angel hair pasta (fresh is best)

Get some in-season shellfish. I like clams, mussels and scallops. If you use shrimp, be sure not to overcook it.

In a saucepan, melt some butter (real butter), add freshly pressed garlic, oregano, basil and shallots. add some clam juice and lemon. steam the shellfish in the clamjuice mixture, saute the scallops in the butter and clam juice. Put it on the angel hair pasta. Throw some grated cheese (fresh is best, parmesian and romano) on top along with some scallions.

Done. Looks like a fancy schmancy meal...super easy to make. Add a little crusty bread you buy at the bakery and a big salad and you have a fantastic meal.

Dump Cake

Dump in a long casserole dish

1 can crushed pineapple
1 can cherry pie filling
1 box yellow cake mix on top
1 to 1 1/2 sticks melted butter until the cake mix is a bit "wet"

Bake at 350 until the top is brown and a bit crispy

It's easy and delicious! I often serve it with vanilla ice cream. Yum!

Here's mine:

Chocolate Caramel Cake

1 box Devil's Food cake mix
1 squeeze bottle of caramel sundae topping
1 tub Cool Whip
1 Heath bar (optional)

Bake cake according to directions on package.
When done, remove from oven and use fork to tear up the middle of the cake (the more the better...take out your frustrations).
Squeeze caramel on cake.
Let cool completely.
Top with Cool Whip and crushed Heath bars.

Store leftovers (if there are any!!!) in fridge. :thumbsup2

Another Angel Hair pasta dish like LaraK's

1 can diced tomatoes (already flavored even easier)
if not add basil, bay leaf, garlic, s&p, etc.
1 can of anchovies or squirt of paste for flavor (can omit)

Put can of tomatoes in small pan
Heat
Pour over cooked angel hair

I came up with that when I was 9 mos preg and really lazy.

Another one

Pre-cooked breaded chicken cutlets or Veal cutlets
Good Seasons Italian dressing
Cut up mozzarella small chunks
Cut up tomatoes
basil leaf fresh

Put mozz, tomatoes and basil over chicken, pour on Good Seasons
Serve with crusty beard to soak up dressing

I have no idea why, but if I go to any cookouts or parties, I am always told to bring my deviled eggs. There is nothing great about them, but they get eaten quickly and before any other deviled eggs that someone else may have brought. Sorry I don't have a recipe, just make them to my taste.

Eggs, Kraft Mayo, Frenches Yellow Mustard.
----------------------------------------------------------------
Crab and Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms

1/2 cup herb flavored cheese (recommended: Boursin)
1/2 cup finely minced crabmeat (may use imitation)
18 uniform sized mushrooms, stem removed

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Combine cheese and crab in a small bowl. Divide crab mixture among the upside-down mushroom caps, stuffing the mushrooms. Place in a baking dish and bake until heated through.
----------------------------------------------------------------
Banana Pudding

1 box Nilla Wafers
6 to 8 bananas, sliced
2 cups milk
1 (5-ounce) box instant french vanilla pudding
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (16-ounce) container frozen Cool Whip, thawed

Layer a 9x13" pan with Nilla Wafers, and slice the bananas on top.

In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and condensed milk until smooth. Add the pudding mix and milk, mixing well.
Fold in half the Cool Whip, then pour over the bananas and Nilla Wafers. Spread with remaining Cool Whip and refrigerate until ready to serve.
----------------------------------------------------------------
Shepherd's Pie

2 lbs. ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
4 cans vegetable soup
1/2 teaspoon salt
mashed potatoes

Brown beef with onion and pepper.
Stir in soup and salt.
Spoon into a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish.
Place potatoes in mounds around edge of beef mixture and bake at 425º for 15 minutes.

Mashed Cauliflower:

Cook cauliflower, drain, mash it up with potato masher and add a little butter, salt, pepper and garlic powder.

I swear everytime I serve this people say they just have to get the recipe for it; like it is some fantastic, exotic dish. :confused3

Pasta Salad

16 oz box of any shaped pasta, cooked

Add these ingredients, to taste:

Mayonnaise
Garlic Powder (not garlic salt)
Onion Powder (not onion salt)
Dill
Kraft Parmesan Cheese
Pepper
Pinch or 2 of salt
Tomato, optional

Kimya

Spinach Dip

1 pkg chopped frozen spinach, thawed
1 cup sour cream
1 cup mayo
1 pkg dry italian dressing mix

Mix everything together. Serve with tortilla chips, bread, crackers....

Yummy!

Buffalo Chicken Dip

2 cans chicken
2 blocks cream cheese
franks hot sauce to taste

Cheddar cheese if desired

Mix first three and then top with cheese.

Key lime pie:

Graham Cracker Crust
3-4 eggs
14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
1/4-1/3 cup key lime juice
1 c. whipping cream
1/4 c. sugar

Mix eggs, milk and juice and pour into crust. Bake in 350 deg. oven for approx. 15 minutes. Cool. Refrigerate 8 hours or overnight. Whip the cream until soft peaks form and add sugar til complete mixed. Dollop onto pie. Serve. Delicious!

BTW, I'm doing this from memory, so I hope the recipe is right, LOL!

My very favorite, ridiculously easy dinner recipe is from the South Beach Diet cook book. I don't remember the name of the dish, but. it is quick and easy and nutritious.

I roast 1 lb asparagus drizzled with olive oil for 20 minutes.
Then, in the same oven, 4 servings salmon (I do 3oz servings, but, it depends on your appetite and caloric needs) for about 10 minutes.
Serve over field greens with a dressing made up of 2tbs Dijon mustard, 2tbs olive oil, 1tbs wine vinegar.

The whole project takes about 20-25 minutes, tops. A great work day dinner.:worship:
