I was getting a little claustaphopic looking at the picture of Evan sleeping in the stroller under the plastic cover!

Speaking of being under plastic cover.....a shower cap? not a bad a idea I guess,,,a little odd...but what about the rest of her body? there was no poncho..

We really enjoyed eating in Mexico last year...but we are Italian and Swedish,,what do we know? it was still really good! service was great too...

I had purchased a new carry-on bag a few days before we left and had very carefully placed it in the side pocket of said bag. Well, the day before travel day, I decided the new bag was too small, so I returned it. With my laminated beauty still in it! Double D’Oh!!!

OMG, I'd love to see the person's face who buys it next!

We headed up the stairs and stopped to grab the strollers when I noticed I had left my VB backpack in the corner of the booth we were sitting at.

We had in my loverly, unlost Vera Bradley backpack, the golden tickets … er DVC instant FP’s. Yes, that right kids, instant FP’s. Andy got into the mile long FP line and scored us some FP’s for NOW! Not before Evan decided he had to pee. Like now. And Maddie decided she was going to put on her big girl panties and ride with us.

They have all the princesses dresses in back in every style and size.

Any idea if they include small adult ?? I have seen some ladies at WDW during "Princess-Pirate" Parties.. and I wondered if they brought them , Made them or found them at Disney ??

Maddie was finally done and I told the FGiT that this had to last until tomorrow, as that was when our Princess lunch at Akershaus was scheduled. She gave me a knowingly look and shellacked that hair to no end! :

That stuff I think will stay up till you can not STAND TO LOOK AT IT ANYMORE.. I know we have done 4 days.
Little girls do like that "TRUE PRINCESS" Look . And if she wants the same hairstyle NEXT TIME.. Momma will just Smile and say "O.K. what ever makes you happy"

. I felt my arms and legs get really heavy and then next thing I knew I was awakened by the pounding of the pizza girl at the door. I must have slept for about 20 minutes, but I felt great. Strangely.

We ate our pizza, cleaned up the kitchen and all headed to our respective “rooms” to get organized and ready for the first park … Epcot!!

Who needs sleep .. you are in "THE MAGIC CITY" that first day you could RUN FOR 2.. But somehow the next day.. you just can't quite do that .
Or maybe it's just me .. getting old.

And that's when I noticed "it" was missing!

We headed up the stairs and stopped to grab the strollers when I noticed I had left my VB backpack in the corner of the booth we were sitting at. And in it was all of our cash. I know! Andy ran down the stairs and found it right where I had left it. Whew! You can bet I got an earful from him.

OMG thank goodness it was still there!

Maddie finally got her wish as Crush asked “The little Dudette in the striped shell” if she had a question. Maddie asked Crush who the coolest fish in the ocean was and of course Crush replied “Little Blue” and Dory came up on the screen with Crush. It was very cute and all Maddie could talk about for the rest of the morning.

I saw a lady wearing a shower cap too but she was black so it was a different one, maybe there's a club?

And so, we rode TT. And it was good. And fun. And we got an awesome PP pic, but since I haven’t ordered my PP DVD, you’re just going to have to believe me. It’s actually pretty funny. TE’s face is classic.

Can't wait to see it!

Maddie, sitting in the row in front of us, turned around and said, “But it still smells sooo good, Mom!”. I laughed at her enthusiasm.

I'm hoping one of my DDs will be chosen by Crush next month (yes, I said, next month ). We'll be with Buzz and Linnie at Epcot, so I'm sure between our girls and LeeAndra, someone will get picked! And it will be funny!

Nope, they only go to a childs LARGE which is like 10/12.

As we walked over to Norway for our Akerhaus Princess Lunch, or what now affectionately call Yakerhaus Princess Lunch – we stopped at the restroom so I could transform Maddie to Her Royal Highness Princess Madison.

The others waited patiently and snapped a few shots around Norway.

I checked us in and Waldo kept pestering me about who was first and we were there before those people and they got in before we did. OMG, sometimes he’s worse than a little kid. I finally had to snap at him that we would get called when OUR table was ready.

Naturally, 2 seconds before they “announced” us, Waldo disappeared. The area in front of the restaurant is relatively small, but somehow he got away. I send out the search and recovery team and they brought him back within a few minutes. We’re really getting better at finding him these days. He generally wanders into food or candy shops and sure enough, we found him a the Kringle thingle bakery.

Finally our name was called and we were escorted to the photo line. Maddie was tickled pink to see Belle was the photo princess and she was dressed in her yellow gown as well. We sent the kids up for the picture, as the rest of us looked like wet dogs!

The photographer went beserk when he noticed Maddie’s Belle doll dressed up to match. He oohed and ahhhed and pointed her out to Belle who also oohed and ahhed. We went over to our table and perused the menu. We placed our food order and then the Princesses started parading in one by one.

First came Jasmine ...

We got a bonus! Cinderella!

Princess Aurora ... she seemed kinda off though. ​

Finally came Ariel ...

As soon as Ariel signed their autographs books and took the picture, she headed toward the next table. Well, not before Waldo jumped up and shouted "Take our picture!" Ariel practically ran over to Waldo and posed with him. And then she flirted with him. It was a riot. And Waldo, well Waldo loved it! He was grinning from ear to ear for the rest of the meal.

TE wasn't impressed. In fact she made a hilarious comment that I cannot repeat on the DIS, for fear of points.

There was a family of 6 sitting next to us, they had 4 little girls ranging from say 10ish to 3ish and when a Princess would show up at the table, the youngest would dive under the table and refuse to come out. It was a riot!

I spoke with V and she and Lauralee had been at the pool and were heading back to their rooms to get organized and such. Our original plan was to meet up at the pool, but Fay decided to muck that up, so we came up with Plan B. We would meet up at the Carriage House and figure it out from there. Waldo and Andy were heading to DTD and to Fuego’s Cigar Bar and had invited Tony to join them.

All I have to say about Yakerhaus is YUCK! It was soooo nasty and soooo overpriced. I would rather spend the money at CRT or even 1900 Park Faire if Maddie ever wanted to do a Princess meal again.

We headed out with all intentions of exiting the park, but Waldo has spied some yummy treats at Kringla bakery, so we stopped there to get some things to-go. I remembered KatGarcia (shout out to the cuz!) mentioning how much she loves the School Bread, so I decided to try some. It looked super yummy and since I love coconut, I had Waldo get me a piece.

Finally ready to leave the park, we slowly walked toward the exit and felt the first signs of rain a-comin’. As soon as we got on the bus, it was complete down pour! The rain did not let up one tiniest bit. As we arrived at the Grandstand bus stop, we jumped off and under cover. Within a few minutes, the rain had subsided, so we made a mad dash for our building. Waldo, thinking he had outsmarted us, headed for the 1st yellow building he saw. Too bad it was the wrong yellow building!

We got to the room and dried off. I called LL & V to see what the plan was, only to find out Tony wimped out (LY, Tony!) because he didn’t want to get caught in the rain. The girls were heading to AP for dinner, so Waldo and Andy decided to walk me down and then they could catch the boat to DTD.

I was anxious to get down there, I hadn’t see my friends in almost a year, and I was busting at the seams. We finally made it down, and as we entered AP, I heard V yell out “HEY, T!” I did my infamous stroller run/walk and gave her a BIG old hug and then it was LL’s turn! Boy, I missed them! But let me tell you, we just picked up where we left off last August. I still get verklempt when I think about it. These ladies have become such a huge part of my life, and I couldn’t wait to sit and catch up. With out the boys.

They finished their meal and we finished our snack ( I knew I needed something in my stomach, as I had an idea the evening would entail booze! ) and that's when Waldo and Andy started ribbing Tony about bailing out (no pun intended) on boys night out. Tony decided it he was in if they were in. Secretly I had hoped Tony would start talking about DVC and really seal the deal for me.

DIS-friends!

The boys left and the 3 of us took the kids over to the area near the Turf Club. They have a bar and couches, table & chairs, a pool table, etc. It’s very homey in there. The kids played on the carpet, and LL, V and I sat at a table, ordered a couple of drinks and chatted about everything and anything. And then we pulled out our Flat Friends, Jen and Michelle! Those party animals!

It’s funny, because in all honesty, our children are very different. But they got along famously – they are all very sweet and very kind and really enjoyed each others company. As did their momma’s.

The rain was really coming down and it got late, so we decided to call it a night. We had AK rope drop tomorrow and as much as I love my girls, I do have to keep my AIS time. But first we had to stop at the gift shop to get some poncho’s. Dude. I hate the smell of the WDW ponchos. They’re so gross, and I get clausterphobic in them. As we head out, wouldn’t you know the freakin’ rain stopped! GRRRRR!

We said good-bye to V, as she was in a different section and then LL and I said good-bye as I headed to my part of the Grandstand and she to hers. I got into my room, and decided I should eat something to soak up the Devil’s juice I had. It was after 11pm, and I had planned to just toss the kids in bed, but Maddie’s hair was bothering her, so I took the crown off, then the pins, then the rubber bands, then the Mickey hair clip. Her head was like a freakin’ clown car, pins just kept coming out!

When I finally got it all down, her hair was still up, but the very top was hanging over. She looked like she had a mushroom cloud on her head. We both couldn’t stop laughing – well, the devil’s juice didn’t help, but it was still funny. I had to bathe her, so Evan decided he should bathe, too. I put them in bed, and jumped in myself. I texted Andy to find out where they were and they too were heading back.

I went to sleep and then I woke up around 3am with the worse stomach ache ever! I was doubled over in pain and then I felt it. That yucky feeling in your throat right before you blow. I won’t go into details, but let me just say, Champagne Mojito’s and School Bread DON’T MIX!

The alarm went off at 6:45 am and….

Great Update!The pix of the Princesses were sooo cute even if the food wasn't !!I've decided next Sept. with the family to do 1900 .I checked the menus and hands down it sounds better !!
