Alrighty, here goes my first ever trip report! YAY!

We're sad to have left Disney, but I'm excited to write this. Honestly, call me crazy, but it wasn't that bad to leave. :confused3 We pushed ourselves so much, and it's so hot, and we really feel like we did everything we wanted to (that we could afford).

I took well over 1000 pictures, and I like pictures much more than reading a bunch of writing, but I'll include both to make every one happy! :thumbsup2

I'm going to post pictures from our vacation prior to Disney, but just real quick without much detail.

Basically, we drove to Detroit on the 6th and went to the zoo. We flew out of Detroit to Fort Lauderdale on the 7th. Then the 7th-10th we were in Boynton.

Sounds like you had a great trip! ;) Congrats! I'm hopping on to read your TR!!!

I definitely did! :rotfl:

Thanks you :goodvibes

Yay!

Alright, now I'm waiting for my Day 1 pictures to finish loading. Woohoo!

But, I may need to break for food and Jacques-watching.

We arrived and then went in. During check-in, she told us we were in the 90's. So, I told her "Listen, I grew up in the 90's. I don't want to stay there. I'm a bowler. Put us in the 50's." And, lo and behold, she did it! But not without a big commotion!

A towel animal was waiting for us:

We had conjoined rooms with my Nana and Pop-pop. We were in 2330 and they were in 2331. For the sake of those who don't know the meaning of the room numbers, it's this:

2-3-30
2 is the building
3 is the floor
30 is the room number on that floor

So, we were on the back side of the wing on the lake side of the jukebox building, basically.

After settling in, we piled in the car (along with my uncle and cousin who live in Orlando) and headed over to:

It was BEAUTIFUL!

Next up, our carriage ride!

I am joining in! We leave in two weeks and are doing a split stay at Pop and WL. :goodvibes Your pictures have gotten me so excited!

Great start!:thumbsup2

Jacques looks like he was a seasoned traveller. Did everything go well?

Waiting not so patiently to hear more about what was in the box and how it was revealed.:cutie:

Yay! Glad to have you along! You'll LOVE Pop. We definitely did!

Thanks :goodvibes

He LOVED it. He was so well-behaved, and loved almost every ride (he wasn't a big fan of the gun fight in GMR, but other than that). I would suggest it to anyone thinking of bringing a little one. It was awesome! :cutie:

Unfortunately, you've got a long wait. I've got about 3 updates left in Day 1, I'd say (Carriage Ride, then Test Track, then Coral Reef), and then you have to wait through Day 2, Day 3, Day 4, and the majority of Day 5. :rotfl:

But, I'm going to try and get done with my TR relatively quickly before I forget everything. :thumbsup2

We decided to do a Carriage Ride at POR/POFQ.

Here's our horse, Travis:

And us in the carriage:

He told us we had two choices, POR or POFQ. We chose POR (or... I did) because I love the mansions. Magnolia Terrace = :lovestruc. Nic agreed because of the Acadian House, since he's Acadian.

First, we saw a bit of POFQ

We headed to Epcot after our awesome Carriage Ride (I'm not sure it was worth the $40, but it was a great experience and we really enjoyed it!).

DSC02247.jpg

We had about an hour and a half, so we decided to ride Test Track, since it was a 60-minute stand-by. We got lucky and it only took 45, including the ride!

Here's a bunch of pictures from the line

We're staying at POFQ for the first time in November, thanks for posting the pics. Jacques is a gorgeous baby!!!!

That's awesome! We loved it there! I mean, we didn't stay, we just passed through on the ride, but it was beautiful!

Thank you! :goodvibes We think so too! :rotfl:
