My appologies....

He's an enigma I tell ya, an ENIGMA!!

Jim, WHAT DO YOU DO? It has been asked before, but you avoid the question, I think you are in health care in some form.... LOL

He doesn't want us asking for FREE advice. Remember we are a parsimonious bunch. :rotfl2:

Dangit Denise.....you reminded me that Ive been forgetting to use that word everyday!!!!

Its obvious that Jim is a CEO of a very serious, stuffed shirt corporation....that has nothing to do with being a military trained medical doctor who rivals Hawkeye in every sense in the matter of cornball humor and posessing an all around lighthearted and good attitude. Hawkeye had his distillery, FWGuy has his Kungalooshery.

I want to take a second and appologize for my recent run of negativity, and general all around bad mood that has obviously made its way to the board.

I usually do everything I can not to let real life get to me, but Ive been getting some hard, fast balls and striking out everytime Im up to bat lately. Ive attempted to keep my posting to a minimal knowing how angry I am at the world right now, but its made its way through despite that somehow.

Im sorry.....I really am. I'll do my best to be as nice and sunshiney as I was before (Of COARSE I was nice and SUNSHINEY!!!!), and if Ive offended anyone...I hope you can forgive it.

No worries Rog if someone really gets offended by having fun on this forum they should dig a hole and stay there. I have something for the cry babies

So do we we feel we are in a recession, or as my mom says, a depression?

Or are we just whining for nothing since prices are supposed to go up?

All I know is I pay 4.20 cents for a gallon of milk, and that's nuts.

I know. I paid $2.49 for a 1/2 gallon of skim milk at Target yesterday. That would be $5.00 a gallon!! That's ridiculous.

I guess we should all just read this book:

I know...isn't it crazy !! I've also seen sliced cheese for $4-$5 for a package with less than 10 slices. I didn't really pay much attention to grocery prices before...if I needed it, I bought it. But now that we are tightening the belt straps a little...everything is so darn expensive !! I was going to get some fresh cherries last week and they were $6 a pound :scared1:

I never paid much attention either to prices until last November and I started clipping coupons and watching sales, I never realized how you could save by using them during a sale. But now I notice the coupons are starting to die down in the sunday paper or are for the same items week after week.

I've noticed the same thing. I told DH to save the coupons for me from last Sunday, and there were only a couple of puny pages. Nothing even worth keeping. :(

I've noticed a hugh increase in the grocery bill too. Even my quick run to the store for milk, oj, apple juice, coke zero, bread and a few small items...the bill is close to $100!!

I know, I know...i hear the waaaambulance coming now!:upsidedow

When is the price of beer going to come down?? That's one product I can buy that will make me forget about the prices of all the other products...lol.
