Well, since it seems that IAHD is away from the boards. I thought I would start a thread for this week since the week already started! I don't mean to step on anyone's toes.

Here is what I did today. Not great, I lost some ECB, but got mostly useful items instead of just stockpiling.

for some reason i remember her saying she was going on vacation.....im sure she wont mind the help no matter the reason....

thanks alot!!!

Thanks for the info, Maggie. :)
I just did a couple of the Revlon nailpolishes and the Tide detergent. I also lost quite a few ECB's on the detergent but I needed it so I guess I can live with that. ;)

I'll just add this over here instead of having 2 threads going :goodvibes

Remember that if the deal is a monthly AND a weekly you will only be able to do the deal ONCE - no double dip I will be adding more to the other deals (not ECB stuff).

Be sure to check out ttp://www.hotcouponworld.com/forums...splay.php?f=62 and http://deals.families.com/cvs,f533 for a more thorough list of upcoming sales and a match up to coupons out there for their products!!

All information is compiled from various sources - other forums, friends, family, personal experience, and the actual ads themselves. My location is in central MA as well as others are country wide, so keep this in mind when reading posts and be sure to confirm your local ad as well before actual shopping. Happy ECB'ing!

I had a pretty good trip on Sunday. I am going back today for Tide and will need to use some ECBs. I am frustrated that I bought my limit of Tums when I was able to get the printable coupon for $2.25 just yesterday. Oh well! I shouldn't be greedy!

Here is my scenario:
4 bottles of Sierra Mist $3.58
2 Tums QuickPack $9.38
2 Revlon Nailcolor $7.98

1 .75 Tums coupon
1 1.00 Tums coupon
1 2.00 Revlon coupon
1 1.00 Revlon coupon
1 BOGO Sierra Mist coupon (1.69)
1 $4/20 coupon
10.00 ECB

Total OOP: .61

ECBs earned: 15.38

Thank you to the regular posters who keep this information available to us!!

I lost a good bit of ECBs this week too but I had several about to expire.

I did the Lipton deal and the Tide. My store was out of the mustard but I got a rain check. I also got 2 nail polishes and 5 bottles of BBQ sauce.

Ok, I wanted you all to see what I got and tell me if you think I am doing good at this.

today, I had 10.00 in ECBs I could use
I purchased
2 Lipton Tea Bags
1 Hellmans mayo
2 skippy pb
1 palm liquid
1 excedrin migraine
2 post cereals (BOGO)
Rolo (not needed but on sale and a treat)
1 BC fudge brownie mix

I had 10.00 in ECBs
I had the 2.00 coupon for Excedrin.

I paid 12.37 OOP. I saved 31.97.I earned 3.00 ECB, 1.00 ECB, $4 off $20, save $3 on any 2 body washes, free $25 gift card with new prescription.

If I do the prescription thing, how do I get the gift card? Will it be printed on the receipt or like a real gift card?

THANKS!!!!!

It'll be on a real gift card, plastic kind like a credit card. HTH

Has anyone done the gift card offer? I am thinking you spend $50 and get $75, I can use the AmEx myself for future purchases. I have$16 in ECBs if they let you use them and a $4/$20 which I doubt I can use but I am thinking if I spend $30 I get $75. Am I missing something? Seems better than getting ECBs as I can use the AmEx anywhere I want.

TIA

I know it seems like a good deal, but I'm pretty sure you can't use ECBs for any gift card purchases. I know one time I tried to use my CVS gift cards I had gotten from a prescription to buy and itunes gift card and they wouldn't let me.

Okay went to CVS this eve to get prescription refilled (1 of our pharmacists will let you use a coupon for a GC if you do not transfer it :thumbsup2 ) got my med for free (w/ promo from drug manufacturer, they paid my copay) and got a $25 GC. Then I bought:

3 80 oz bottles of Cheer (on clearance for $1.75 ea)
1 box of the oxy zit pads (for DD15 :rotfl2: ) makes my skin ache just holding the bottle for $5.79
1 pkg of Ben Gay heat therapy pads (? or whatever they're called) 25% bonus box too $6.99
2 reg sized kit kat caramel candy bars .20 ea on clearance

total before tx 18.03
- $5 off $15 coupon
- $3 off $10 CRT
- $1 oxy zit manu coupon
- $1 Ben Gay coupon on box
- $1 cheer coupon X 3 on the bottles (only good at CVS)
- $2 ECB
- $3 ECB
OOP incl tx was .43
and I got back $1 ECB on the oxy zit pads and $2 cash for what was an 'old' ECB sign for the bengay patches.
So basically I'm out $2 in ECBS, but all in all, I thought I did pretty well. Esp with the $25 GC.

Tomorrow I'm picking up a new asthma inhaler (current one is about to expire on the actual inhaler) and I found a $30 GC competitor coupon in our local grocery store ad. I think right now I've got at least $250 in GCs to CVS. Too bad WDW doesn't take CVS GCs :rotfl2:

I've gotten at least $250 in GCs from prescriptions. Just this week DS was put on an antibiotic and one day later he broke out in a rash. Now we have another antibiotic and a cream for the rash= $75 in GCs. While I hate that he is sick (although he isn't in pain or miserable) I make the most of it with the GCs. I'm waiting until 6/1 to start using these. This week is not really good CVS week for me.
